"Zhao Xin has left. She has gone to Heaven." After Zhao Xin's death, her mother cried and said this to people who were concerned and visited her.

At 6:50 pm on December 11, 2000, Zhao Xin died after 6 months of suffering from the injuries she sustained while in Chinese police custody. However, she still has regrets, since the Fa (Law and Principles) has not been rectified in the world. Not only our teacher is enduring so much for us, our fellow practitioners are also suffering. That is why that, Zhao Xin's eyes and lips were not closed. She really wanted to tell the truth of Falun Gong from her own mouth, to assist Teacher in the human world, and to wait for the day to come when the Fa has corrected both heaven and earth...

We still remember that on October 1, Zhao Xin strongly asked us to take her to Tiananmen Square to safeguard Fa in a wheelchair. A wheelchair was bought, but her wish was not fulfilled due to her poor physical health. However, after learning that many practitioners stepped forward to validate Fa on that afternoon, Zhao Xin was very happy.

Although Zhao Xin has left us, she is so well remembered that it's if she still lives with us. Although police guard her dormitory day and night, countless people still come here to visit. They talk about her selflessness, honesty, kindness and generosity that impressed everyone.

The memorial ceremony was held at 2:30 pm on December 13, 2000. There were plainclothes policemen everywhere on campus. Even the wreath that her relatives bought her was not allowed onto the campus.

When Zhao Xin's body left the school, the sheet covering her was confiscated because it had the words "Endure unreasonable sorrow, call for conscience and justice." When the hearse drove out of the school, it was followed by three police vans full of plainclothes policemen. There were also police cars and plainclothes policemen around the cemetery of Babaoshan. The plainclothes policemen even requested a draft of the memorial speech to make modifications. The request was denied by Zhao Xin's sister, who was very brave against any change of the draft by the police. However, when the memorial speech was given, the plainclothes policemen stood very close, and any phrases containing "Falun Gong" were interrupted or disallowed.

In such a simple, solemn, somber and depressed environment, we bid farewell to our fellow practitioner-- Zhao Xin, who left with her will unfulfilled.

A short poem to mourn Zhao Xin:

Righteous mind comes with a kind heart,
Unshakable determination intimidates and scares off the evils,
To be born and grow up in such a filthy world,
Return with the teacher without any regret.
