[Minghui] Rao Wenyong used to be the vice superintendent of the Liudian police station. While at this position, he violated the law himself by beating Dafa practitioners at will. His behavior was heinous, and it seriously violated Chinese law, and police policy. Below is a bloody example of one of these violations.
On Saturday, June 17, 2000, several Dafa practitioners (Gong Baohua, Qin Liying, Xu Jianrong, Wang Shurong, Zhao Yuzhen, Wang Shuping) went to Beijing to appeal. They were stopped at the Dongzhimen bus station by policemen and were taken to Liudian police station. There, they were abused and beaten horribly by the police. Practitioner Wang Shuping's face was beaten so viciously that it was distorted and hardly recognizable. Practitionor Zhao Yuzhen's body was covered with black and purple bruises, and she could not stand up without help. Despite this, the cruel policeman Song Wanjun did not let her go and continued to beat and torture her. Practitioner Gong Baohua's nose was broken by the villainous policeman Rao Wenyong, and her blood was all over the ground. Her clothes were soaked with so much blood that you couldn't tell what color they used to be. Rao Wenyong also slapped the face of practitioner Wang Shurong more than 20 times without stopping. All the other practitioners were also beaten, with various degrees of seriousness.
Together with some of the other practitioners, Gong Baohua was sent to the detention house of Pinggu County after she was seriously injured from the beating by Rao Wenyong. The detention house would not take her, and she was sent back home. On June 18, while on her way to the hospital with her family members, she was again stopped by policemen from the Liudian police station. They forcefully pulled her out of her car, and sent her back to the detention house in Pinggu County a second time. To stand up for the reputation of Dafa, Gong Baohua went on a hunger strike. All she wanted to do was to say a good word for Dafa, and to say Dafa had been treated with injustice. Yet a tragic death fell on her. On June 22, a worker at he detention center force-fed her. On June 24, she was put on a nasal feeding tube. By the time she got back to the prison cell, she immediately lay down on the bed. Her face had begun to turn black, and she soon lost consciousness. Seeing that her situation was very dangerous, fellow practitioners in the detention house asked for help. Dr. Wang, the doctor in the detention house, abused them in response. Later on, Gong Baohua was carried to the clinic in the detention house. On the morning of June 25, she was carried back to her cell. Around noon on June 26, she was sent to the Pinggu Hospital, were she died shortly.
Persecutors like Rao Wenyong have yet to stop their evil actions or be reprimanded. Instead, they have been protected by their supervisors, making them even crueler to the Dafa practitioners who go to appeal in Beijing. The evil cannot be allowed to last anymore. Good people will be rewarded with good, and evil with evil. It is our sincere hope that all the kind-hearted people and those who have a sense of justice can understand, support, and help Falun Dafa.
