Practioner Niu Jinping Forced Out of His Home

March 14, Beijing practitioner Niu Jinping was taken from his work unit by police from the local dispatch station and was detained for 24 hours. After returning home, Niu said that this time he was not the only person incarcerated at the local dispatch station. There were many other Dafa disciples, thrown in a cold room. The police left the door open to freeze practitioners. Many people did not have a place to sit and had to stand for 24 hours. Niu's lower leg cramped due to the cold. Before his cultivation practice he had this problem with his lower leg, which was not cured until he started practicing cultivation. This was the first time his lower leg cramped since he started to cultivate. Police also burned newspapers to choke practitioners with smoke. They said that cultivators don't smoke cigarettes and are afraid of the smell, so they will force us to inhale smoke.

Niu said things like this had occurred several times to him. Starting on Chinese New Year's Eve, he was incarcerated for 48 hours. On March 1, he was taken to the dispatch station and held until midnight. Within one month, or so, he was taken away three times. He did not know what else would happen to him. None of his routine duties in his work unit, personal safety, and basic rights could be protected. He was not willing to freely let police do bad things by locking up good people arbitrarily. He himself was not willing to receive the inhumane treatment physically and mentally, or to assist bad people commit grossly wrong deeds. He would not like to give police such opportunities, and decided not to come home or go to work. Because he was not given the rights for survival.

On the night of March 20, policemen with last names Sun and Jin from the dispatch station came to Niu Jinping's home to ask his daughter Niu Dan about his whereabouts. They threatened Niu Dan that if she could not find her father; she herself would be locked up. Niu Dan said, "If it's something to do with him, why are you going after me?" Upon hearing this, these two policemen called in 4 or 5 policemen, and threatened if she refused to go to the dispatch station, they would carry her there. This child had no choice but to follow police to the dispatch station. Neighbors saw this child was taken away. After Niu Dan left, police went to neighbors to chat so as to distract their attention. Right at this moment, next door neighbors heard some noise coming from Niu's home. Since they knew no one was at home, and wanted to find out what was the matter. Police told them, "Nothing, no noise." Still the neighbors could not rest their minds and insisted on taking a look. And two men who looked very much like joint neighborhood watchers reporting to the dispatch station were prying at Niu's door. They ran away in a hurry as soon as being spotted. Niu Dan was released the same night, but was told that as long as her father did not come home for a day, she would be subpoenaed on a daily basis.

It is not known based on which law they could do so.

Would not this force those who are cornered and have nowhere to go to realize they should tell all the unjust treatments they have experienced to all kind-hearted people, and to relevant state leadership and organizations?
