Through studying the new articles of "The Knowing Heart" and "Toward the Consummation", they all found out their own shortages. Although it was so hot, the conference appeared very harmonious. They end their meeting in the afternoon.
[Qingdao Province] Intensified Crackdown due to the Supervision from Beijing Government
Currently, more and more practitioners from Qingdao City have gone to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. A few local officials became very nervous. The central government in Beijing also sent out people to supervise the crackdown on Falun Gong in Qingdao. Therefore, the local government in Qingdao started to intensify its crackdown on Falun Gong.
On May 26, when 40 and over practitioners exchanged their experiences at the home of practitioner Yuan Xuexuan, some plainclothes agents infiltrated in their meeting. Therefore, all of them got arrested afterwards. The home of Yuan Xuexuan was also ransacked. Yuan Xuexuan, Li Zhenwen, Yang Qipo and his brother, and Zou Songtao were given criminal detention. Another dozen of practitioners was given administrative detention and got released in the afternoon of June 12.
Now practitioners in Qingdao City are facing mighty tribulations. Practitioners are forced to attend the so-called "thoughts transformation classes" located in the Southern and Northern districts. Each practitioner must pay 400 Yuan a day (200 Yuan for him/her self, the other 200 Yuan for his/her accompany from the work unit). The money was first paid by practitioners' work units and later deducted from their salaries. In the classes, practitioners were isolated from each other. They tried all means to disturb the practitioners' thoughts such as forcing them to learn the contents of other schools of Qigong. Adding the pressures from the families, a few practitioners failed to pass the tribulations. A practitioner who appeared relatively determined about Falun Dafa wrote a pledge after 3 days of classes. The police circled his name and said, "The great waves shift the sand. Another speck of sand is shifted."
On June 10, practitioner Cui Weirui, the former major contact person of Falun Gong in the assistance center of Qingdao City, was given criminal detention for the accusation that other practitioners had gone to her home to exchange experiences on May 10. Now the police refused to listen when the practitioners introduced them Falun Dafa. Instead, they tried all means to get evidences from the practitioners in order to persecute the practitioners.
Most of practitioners had already realized that they should not cooperate with the police. To verify Dafa is one of the best ways of promoting Dafa to people and is also the greatest compassion to them.
