[China] The Echo of Teacher's New Articles
After Teacher's "Towards Consummation" was published, almost all practitioners felt a shock. Many practitioners finally had a pressing feeling and started to give up their fundamental attachments and walk out to verify Dafa.
Some practitioners who had tried all means to defend Dafa found out their own shortages so they could defend and verify Dafa better and in more rational ways. Practitioners who had walked out to defend Dafa but discontinued their efforts later, or who had committed wrongdoings and who had never walked out to defend Dafa, started to walk out to defend Dafa in different ways and to the different extents. Some practitioners wrote articles to disclose persecution; some distributed the materials about the truth of Dafa to the public; some started to prove Dafa to the people around them with their own personal experience; some started to resume their group practice and group study, etc.
After the two articles "The Knowing Heart" and "Towards Consummation", especially the latter article was published, many practitioners started to examine themselves and found out many shortages of their own. Many practitioners started to take actions to defend Dafa. As long as the truth was not exposed, we all still had opportunity to improve ourselves in Dafa and we could walk out to defend Dafa in all means and to deferent extents. On the other hand, we should make the best use of time to disclose the truth of Falun Dafa to the public and let more people know that Falun Dafa is righteous.
Meanwhile, after Teacher's two new articles were published, the Beijing Police Department convened a full-day urgent meeting. They thought that practitioners would have new moves after these two articles were published.

Hu Qingyun had been a terminal leukemia patient. He gained his second life after practicing Falun Dafa. [Changchun] Resumed Group Practice Got Disrupted
Some practitioners resumed group practice at Nanhu and Xinming Square on June 17. They started to play the practice music on June 18 and display Falun Dafa banners on June 21. This morning the police arrested them, which included practitioners who had experienced tribulations in the process of defending Dafa and those who just walked out to defend Dafa.
[Beijing] A few days ago, some practitioners from Beijing and the family members of detained practitioners went to some police stations to require the release of detained practitioners. They kindly told the police and their supervisors the truth. When the police tried to evade responsibility, the practitioners then waited there calmly. At the entrance, practitioners started to study the materials of Dafa. A few practitioners started to practice Falun Gong.
Some police came up to disturb the practitioners rudely. So the practitioners reasoned with them kindly. Later, some other police came over to persuade these police to leave and also told the practitioners, "You can continue your practice."
Those detained practitioners were also studying and practicing Falun Gong inside the gate. Whenever the police tried to disturb them, their family members and the practitioners outside would tell them loudly, "The people's police can not beat people. It is illegal to beat people." On that day, the police did not arrest any practitioners outside; instead, they released a few detainees.

According to the practitioners who got released after being arrested on June 18 for practicing Falun Gong in public areas, group practice was also resumed at the Yuexiushan Park on June 18. There alone the police detained about 300 to 400 practitioners. While in the Tianhe Stadium, the police detained about 200 practitioners. When the practitioners arrived, some police had already been waiting there. After spotting the police, a few practitioners stopped going forward. At the beginning, the police pushed practitioners rudely, some practitioners fell onto the ground; some practitioners got beaten up. Practitioners started to recite "Lun Yu" (the preface of the book Zhuan Falun) together. They were later sent to different police stations for interrogation. Some practitioners told the police their name and address and were then picked up soon by their local police stations. Some practitioners refused to cooperate with the police in their illegal actions and refused to tell their names and addresses, and then they were handcuffed and cursed. Later, the police took photos for them and asked local police stations to identify and pick them up. Some practitioners refused to take photos.. At the end, the police cheated them and got their names and addresses.
Those arrested in front of the Municipal Government said that about 150 to 200 practitioners were sent to an elementary school nearby. The police had planed to interrogate them one by one. However, the practitioners started to recite "Lun Yu" until the afternoon without eating and drinking. Later the police required the practitioners to tell them their names and addresses, which was refused by all practitioners. Later, the police had to take photos for them and ask local police stations to identify them. Before long, all practitioners were picked up by their respective police stations.
Up to now, some former contact people of Falun Gong are still being detained.
[Guangzhou] The Couple of Shi Lei Has Been Detained for About 45 Days
Shi Lei was beaten up by some police led by the director of Xincheng Police Station of Zhujiang district. When Shi Lei's family members went to the police station to pick up his 5-year-old son, they required the police to send Shi Lei to a hospital to examine possible injuries. However, the police station denied their requirement for fear that their illegal deeds would be exposed.
The family members of Shi Lei will file charges against the police.
