Zhao Xin's medical expenses are currently at 80,000 Yuan (Chinese dollars). The Haidian District Police Department, where the brutal injuries occurred while in their custody, paid 50,000 Yuan, and has made a determination to make no further payments. They have requested Zhao Xin's work-unit, Beijing Industry and Commerce University, to pay for the rest of her medical expenses. Originally, on July 10, her work-unit was preparing to pay the remaining expenses, but due to various reasons, the payment has not been made to the hospital, yet.
Zhao Xin now is listening to Master Li's lecture tapes everyday, and has studied Master Li's new scriptures. Doctors in the hospital said that with such a seriously injured condition, it is really a miracle that Zhao Xin has survived. Doctors and nurses originally didn't hold much hope for the survival of Zhao Xin. According to the people who have seen Zhao Xin, even though her entire body is paralyzed, her complexion is rosy and this is the appearance of a totally healthy person.
On July 13, the temperature in Beijing was extremely high, just like a huge steam room. On this day that Zhao Xin's condition was not even affected by the high temperature and high humidity, instead, her condition improved and the amount of food she ate also increased.
The US$3,000 received from warm-hearted Falun Dafa practitioners' worldwide has been delivered to Zhao Xin's family. Zhao Xin and her family are even more perseverant and diligent in their cultivation of Falun Dafa, after having learnt that worldwide Falun Dafa practitioners and kind-hearted people are all paying close attention to the condition of Zhao Xin's injuries. Many are upset with the few degenerates, who are abusing their authority, and act with a total disregard for human life. Many have also been inspired by her conduct, using her life to assimilate to, safeguard and verify Falun Dafa and have developed a mind to make further progress in their cultivation and practice.
