Tell the Truth to People of the World

On July 4, like every year, about half a million people came from all over to gather at the Charles River to celebrate US Independence Day.

We thought this was a good opportunity to promote Dafa and over twenty practitioners from the Boston area went to the Charles River to promote Dafa. The activities began around 9:30AM and ended at 7:50PM, just before dark. While most of us were peacefully practicing Falun Gong (Falun Dafa) exercises, several practitioners took turns handing out Dafa newspapers and pamphlets to people who were interested in Falun Gong. Hundreds of thousands of people saw us exercising. Some took pictures of us and with us. Hundreds of people read the newspaper, many stopped to ask questions about Falun Dafa. Some joined the practice group and learned the exercises. A Chinese lady said: "Falun Dafa is good. I like it." A couple of Chinese students stopped to inquire about Falun Gong. They said, "what I see and hear today is very different from how it was portrayed by the Chinese government on the television program." They felt glad that they could read, on the Minghui website, the truth concerning the event on April 25, 1999 when10 thousand Falun Gong practitioners gathered to report the truth to the Chinese central government.

On our way back home, some Americans who had watched our practice and read the Dafa newspaper during the day, met us again on the street, recognized and complimented us by saying: "Congratulations on a successful demonstration! Good job!"
