On September 10, about twenty Falun Dafa practitioners from Princeton, East Brunswick, Millburn, and Edison New Jersey State held a one-day Falun Dafa promotional activity at the Dunellen Fair.

Three weeks ago, Steve, an American practitioner from Edison County, learned that a fair was to be held in Dunellen, the city in which he had his attended university. He told the practitioners about the opportunity to introduce Dafa to the American public, and then reserved a booth.

The practitioners repeatedly demonstrated the five sets of exercises. The peacefulness and serenity shown by the group practice along with the colorful picture exhibit attracted the attention of many people. Many of them stopped to watch and ask questions.

"They look so relaxed and peaceful," one of the visitors said. Many people asked us where they could learn the exercises, how much time it takes to practice the exercises every day, what the benefits were, and why China had banned Falun Gong, as well as other questions. Our practitioners answered their questions one after another.

After reading Lunyu (Statement of Comments), a gentleman said: "I love it." He immediately bought the book Zhuan Falun. A 6-7 year old girl came along with her mother and younger brother. Seeing the practitioners sitting in the lotus position to do the meditation, she wanted to do it too. She quickly put her legs into the cross-legged position with the help of our practitioners.

A while later, the family returned. This time, the little girl and her brother practiced the exercises along with another lady who had eagerly asked if she could immediately learn the exercises after watching them demonstrated.

A gentleman video taped the scene including our group practicing and the Falun Dafa picture exhibition with interest.

When an American man was walking by with his wife in the afternoon, he said to his wife: "It is banned in China." A practitioner heard it and responded: "Yes, it is banned in China." The man said: "It is reported that China also banned other Qigong practices and religions." His wife was shocked: "I couldnt believe it." At last they said: "Lets wait and see. Good luck to you."

Cynthia, an American practitioner who only attained Dafa two months ago at the Madison Fair, participated enthusiastically. She constantly talked to the Americans about the great changes that Dafa had brought to her physical and mental health.

Due to the large number of people asking for the information materials, we almost ran out of the literature that we had brought. The practitioners ended up searching their cars for the materials that they used on ordinary days. By the end of the day, the message of Dafa was once again spread to hundreds of American and Chinese families.
