The Falun Gong followers' resistance against the brutal suppression of the Chinese government demonstrates the struggle of the Chinese people for dignity, freedom, and democracy. This resistance is peaceful and invincible and it signifies the awakened consciousness of common Chinese people and the elevation of their morality and courage. This brave resistance has already lasted for more than one year. It has unceasingly awakened the consciousness of more and more people of goodwill. It has continuously exposed the brutality and absurdity of the Chinese communist regime. It has also won the understanding and support of more and more people in countries throughout the world.
The Chinese regime achieved its power through violence. It deceives people with lies and keeps its ruling through dictatorship. In the present society with ever-increasing social conflicts, the leaders of this government rely on violently suppressing the people into a cradle to keep them in power. Even Falun Gong followers, a group of common people without any political power, can't escape the fate of being violently suppressed.
Falun Gong followers are from all different areas of society; with the majority of them being retired individuals. In the present society where people do not have medical insurance, there isn't a reason to dispute people who practice qigong to keep fit. In this society where the morality is ever-decreasing and the weak are the prey of the strong, there isn't anything abnormal about kind-hearted people cultivating themselves according to the principle of "Truthfulness, Benevolence, and Forbearance", and to keep a healthy mind by upgrading their morality. When numerous people become better, a pure and sacred land will naturally appear in society. Violent suppression of this pure land is no different from violent suppression of the goodwill and consciousness of people. This is why Jiang Zemin's decision is incorrect and detestable.
It is encouraging to see that Falun Gong followers have not succumbed. These trustworthy individuals adhere to their righteous course and consciousness. They are respectful and they courageously face the brutality. I deeply respect Falun Gong followers and pray for them!
