[Mainland China] Material disclosing Jiang Zemin's persecution of Falun Gong are appearing in many cities and provinces
The article "A public notice to Jiang Zemin" has appeared on the streets and alleys of a city in Shandong province. Many people, including the security force, have seen this solemn announcement by Dafa practitioners. The materials have been sent out to the people in one district of Jiangxi province to expose Jiang Zemin, the general representative of the evil force. Meanwhile, Dafa practitioners from many cities and provinces have printed and spread the important articles published recently on Minghui to practitioners. They are studying the Fa (the law and principle) and being steadfast to protect Dafa from being damaged by the evil force.
[Mainland China] An English Caucasian practitioner of over 60 years old will practice and meditate in front of the Chinese Embassy in England around Oct. 1, 2000 [Chinese National Day]
Robert Gibson, an English Caucasian practitioner, over 60 years old, got permission today. He will practice Falun Gong and meditate in front of the Chinese Embassy in England from 10am, Sep. 26 to 10pm, Oct. 1 to express his support of Falun Gong practitioners in China and to request that Jiang Zemin stop the persecution of Falun Gong. During this time, there will be a limited number of other English practitioners joining him.
Robert Gibson, lives in London and has cultivated Dafa for 19 months. He shared his experiences at the second Fa conference in England held last month. At the group study last Friday, he came to know about the article "A public notice to Jiang Zemin" and recent news of the frenzied persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. He decided to practice and meditate in front of the Chinese Embassy to show his concern. His application was quickly approved by the police. Robert Gibson's son will join him at night while working daytimes.
Until now, Robert Gibson and other practitioners have spent 5 and half days in front of the Chinese Embassy.
[Mainland China] The police began mass arrests of Falun Gong practitioners in Qinghuangdao (city in Hebei province), and large-scale harassment of practitioners in Shenzheng (city in Guangdong province).
Before Sep. 20, the police in Qinghuangdao began mass arrests of Dafa practitioners. Many practitioners study and treat the Fa as their teacher, thus they are not moved by the evil. They continue to go to Beijing or adopt the strategy of moving around and keeping mobile to tell the truth to the government and people.
Since Sep. 20, the police in Shenzheng began to monitor, track and register Dafa practitioners. The situation has become more severe, especially in Luohu district. Whoever claims to continue practicing will be arrested. Currently, some practitioners have left home to join in "assisting the teacher in human society" to clarify the truth to the government and people.
[Mainland China] One month ago, the security in Tanghai county of Tangshan, Hebei province, arrested 4 practitioners who stepped forward to validate Dafa. They were tortured, questioned about the material resource and forced to give up their cultivation. They are:
Cao Nan, an employee of the oil field company in eastern Hebei province. He has been detained for 3 months due to practicing Falun Gong outdoors one year ago.
Ye Shuxiang, the wife of an employee of the oil field company in eastern Hebei province, was beaten up so severely while in custody that she lost control of her bladder.

[Mainland China] The unfortunate experience of a family in Shandong
Zhang Zheng was the director of an administrative office in a county in Shandong Province. His wife was a secretary. His older daughter, Zhang Lin, was a teacher at a township high school while his younger daughter was still in school.
Since the Chinese government started the crackdown of Falun Gong last July 20, Zhang Zheng was held in a hotel for 48 days for "education and transformation" by his work unit. Later, he was detained for one month and discharged from his post because of sharing cultivation experiences with other practitioners. This year, he went to appeal in Beijing during the Spring Festival. As a result, he was detained for another month and then sentenced to two years of labor camp when the detention expired. At the same time, his party membership was taken away.
Zhang's wife also went to appeal in Beijing during the Spring Festival. After she was detained for one month, her work unit then locked her up to keep her under surveillance and forced her to write a guarantee letter. She has been detained since this February and has been denied all salaries and benefits, even the basic monthly unemployment compensation of 150 RMB that is guaranteed by law. Her superior boasted, "I don't believed that without income, you can persevere in your believe any longer." Meanwhile, Zhang's elder daughter underwent inhumane torture at school where she was teaching. Out of sympathy, two of Zhang Zheng's colleagues went to visit her. After they came back, they were explicitly criticized several times at company-wide meetings. To make a living, Zhang's wife was forced to leave home to find a job elsewhere. Now she has been dismissed by her work unit and deprived of her Party membership.
Zhang Lin was fined 3,000 RMB on March 14 after she turned in a 200 RMB "education fee" and was sent to an "education class". During the class, she was forced to write a guarantee letter, repentance letter, and the information about other practitioners, otherwise she would be physically tortured and abused and psychologically humiliated. In order to attack Dafa, the county leadership instructed to make up a rumor that her parents made hundreds of thousands of RMB from practicing Falun Gong. Lacking evidence, they forced Zhang Lin to make up falsify evidence to defame her parents and planed to videotape it to show on TV. When this scheme failed, they beat her unconscious. Her eyes were swollen and black for two weeks.
Every day the "education class" leader would bring in a group of hired thugs to beat the practitioners living with her. They also forced practitioners to beat each other with brooms, and slap each other. If the practitioners refused, they would be beaten from behind. Some leaders forced practitioners to put iron manure buckets on their heads and then hit the buckets with shovels. When a town chief became tired from the beating, he started to put stones in practitioners' pockets and kicked the stones with his feet for fun. In order not to be seen during the beating, they asked the practitioners to hold their feet with their hands and not look back. The leaders also forced the practitioners to sit in the snow while blowing them with electric fans. To prevent their evil conduct from being revealed, they forbade the practitioners from leaving the yard, even at night. Males and females were forced to live together and share the same bathroom. They slept on the cement floor of a big classroom. The door was open so the leaders and their hired roughnecks could harass them anytime. The practitioners were once denied food and use of the bathroom for four days. Zhang Lin was illegally detained for three months and denied her salary for the months of February, March and April. Actually, she has not received any salary up to this time. She has two dependents at home, a 68-year-old grandmother and an 11-year-old girl. They do not have any income and rely on relatives and friends' help for living.
From the unfortunate experience of this family, we can easily tell who is creating tragedies in the human world, who is destroying family unity and social order, and who is ruining people's health. It's clear both to humans and gods who is righteous and who is evil.
