(Clearwisdom.net) On September 4, 2002, American University in Washington, DC welcomed the arrival of new students from all over the country. The university's student administrative department especially organized a large welcoming activity on the campus lawn to introduce student groups and clubs to new students. Falun Dafa Club also set up a booth that was set up in a conspicuous place.

Many students stopped in front of the "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" poster and the "Falun Dafa" banner. They were also drawn by Dafa practitioners' five sets of graceful and smooth exercises, and many wanted to learn. A professor passed by our booth, and said that he had been paying attention to Falun Gong's persecution in China. He said, "Look, Falun Gong is so beautiful, persecuting them is definitely wrong." Students wore badges of "Falun Dafa is good" on their chests to show their support for Falun Dafa. They not only requested Dafa truth-clarifying materials and Falun Dafa introductory information in English, they also initiatively took away some Chinese materials. They said they would tell their Chinese friends about the beauty of Falun Dafa and let them know the true facts about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China.
The Dafa musical pieces "Pudu" and "Jishi" brought back people's pure memory of ancient times and many people listened quietly for a long time at our booth. Many acclaimed, "The music is wonderful, it touches the depths of my heart. " "The music is so beautiful, what kind of music is it?" We told them, "It's Falun Dafa music." "So peaceful, and so appealing!" They pointed at the truth-clarifying VCDs and said, "Is it the music? Can I have it?" Someone from a booth nearby said after the activity was over, "We are so fortunate to be next to the Falun Dafa booth. The music sounds so sacred. I feel so fortunate." They requested to learn the exercises. Falun Gong introductory information was broadcasted and reverberated in the sky. Many students stopped walking and what they were doing, and listened carefully. We are so pleased to see so many people become familiar with Falun Dafa.
