Practitioner Chen Ruichang, the Former Deputy Director of Guangdong TV Station's General Editorial Department, Is Illegally Imprisoned Once Again

(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioner Chen Ruichang, the former Deputy Director of the General Editorial Department of Guangdong's Television Station, was previously wrongfully imprisoned for two years because he firmly insisted on practicing Falun Dafa. Then, later he was released through the efforts of the Global Organization to Rescue Persecuted Falun Gong Practitioners. However, on June 15, 2003, he was abducted from his workplace. Now, nearly four months have passed, the police still haven't allowed his family members to visit him, and the government refuses to disclose the location where he is being imprisoned. However, inside sources say that he is being held in the Sanshui Labor Camp in Guangdong Province, and that members of the notorious "610 Office,"* knowing that Chen Ruichang's case has strong impact abroad, hope to brainwash him into renouncing Falun Dafa and becoming what they call one of the "key transformed people" so they can use him against Falun Dafa.

Zhao Guoyun and Five Other Dafa Practitioners from Beipiao, Liaoning Province Were Illegally Sentenced

(Clearwisdom.net) Zhao Guoyun, Wang Wenfu and five other Falun Dafa practitioners from Beipiao, Liaoning Province were reported on by people when they went to Loudian Township to clarify the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong to the people there. Wang Wenfu skillfully hid himself, but the other six practitioners were arrested. Wang Wenfu then became homeless for two months, fearing illegal arrest. On August 15, 2003, Wang Wenfu was abducted because someone reported his whereabouts to police. This was the sixth time that this seventy-year-old man was illegally detained. The police attempted to extort 3,000 Yuan (The average monthly income for an urban worker in China is 500 Yuan) from his family in order to obtain his release, but they refused to pay the bribe. Right now the old man is still being held in the Beipiao City Detention Center.

Facts of Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners in Luohe City, Henan Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Ding Xiangqin from Luohe City is 30 years old. She was detained at the Shibalihe Women's Detention Center in Zhengzhou City for two years and seven months. She never gave up the practice of Dafa. She was sent to a brainwashing session organized by the Luohe City "610 Office"* when her term ended in 2003. She escaped the second night by jumping from the second floor of the building. Her whereabouts are not known.
