More Than 100 Falun Gong Practitioners on Hunger Strike in Jilin Prison; Mr. Liu Chengjun on Brink of Death (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) October 26, 2003 report: According to a Minghui journalist's report from China, right now more than 100 Falun Gong practitioners are being held in Jilin Prison, and most of them have gone on a hunger strike to protest the ongoing severe torture by prison guards. The lives of those engaged in this peaceful appeal are in danger. It has been verified that Dafa practitioner Mr. Liu Chengjun is on the verge of death.

Dafa Practitioner Ms. Duan Shiqiong from Chongqing City Dies from Force-Feeding in Chengdu Detention Center

(Clearwisdom.net, October 23, 2003) Ms. Duan Shiqiong was 32 years old, an attendant at the Chongqiong Railway Bureau, and a Falun Gong practitioner.

In 2001, because of the persecution by Jiang's regime, she was forced to leave home to avoid further persecution. Later in Chengdu City, she made every effort to clarify the truth of Dafa and the facts of persecution to people. In August 2002, she was illegally detained at the Chengdu City Detention Center by the "610 Office"*. She went on hunger strikes to protest the persecution. On September 16, 2003, she died while being violently force-fed by police officers and criminals. There were eyewitnesses to the Ms. Duan's death as a result of the force-feeding.
