The following is an excerpt from the article "Clarify the Truth by Making Phone Calls as Part a Process of Upgrading Completely."

My personal opinion on getting to the point when calling is that the end results of our calls are based upon our states of mind. When our minds are pure, filled with righteous thoughts, and emitting the grand compassion that can save sentient beings, the results of our calls must be good. It doesn't matter if you are good at talking or not, as long as your heart is there, every word that you say, every sentence, will move people's hearts. At that point, whatever it takes for your thoughts to get you to the point, just follow your heart and say it. Thinking too much is also an attachment, and may make you unable to pick up the phone.

Looking inside when facing problems: I used to say, "I will only take one or two minutes of your time." Hence, people tended to hang up after one or two minutes. After looking inside, I found that what I had said determined the time. Therefore, I changed what I say to, "May I take a moment of your time?" It is good that we think of others first, and use acceptable and polite forms, but our minds must be righteous, and we must have an open and dignified manner. These few minutes are so precious to this person.

We should master more knowledge and information based on the foundation of studying the Fa well, such topics as the big picture of Fa-rectification, bringing Jiang to justice, the facts of the persecution, testimonials from those who have benefited after obtaining the Fa, scientific validation and medical validation, etc., so that we can tell the facts to different people with different approaches.

I realized that making phone calls is a process of clarifying the truth and saving sentient beings. It is a process that directly eliminates the evil together with fellow practitioners who are on the front lines in China. It is a process of using righteous thoughts to cleanse the evil that dwells in the listeners' dimensions. It is a process of getting rid off our own attachments. It is a process that allows us to see if we have studied the Fa well or not. It is a process of upgrading our xinxing. It is a process of cultivation, in which we are upgrading as a whole.

We should encourage more Chinese and Western fellow practitioners to join our phone call teams to clarify the truth. Western fellow practitioners often say one sentence into the phone, "Falun Dafa is Great! Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance are Great!" These can powerfully eliminate the evil in other dimensions, and shake any Chinese person's heart. When a Chinese person hears a westerner telling him that Falun Dafa is great, he will think for many days about why so many people in the world say that Falun Dafa is great! Besides, there are many Chinese people who speak English, especially college students or people who work in foreign relations, who would love to talk to westerners. Therefore, western fellow practitioners can play an important role in this respect.

The Truth and the People's Hearts

When I became destitute and homeless in order to avoid being illegally abducted from my home, my 6-year-old nephew was very happy to see me, and did the exercises with me. One day, he suddenly told me, "Aunty, if the police came to arrest you, I would block the gate and not let them in. I will tell them, 'You do not arrest bad guys, and you only arrest good people like my Aunt.'" My nephew's family are all people with predestined relationships. When my brother-in-law first saw Master's picture on Zhuan Falun, he praised Master from the bottom of his heart. My sister wants to keep the Book, so their whole family can learn.

Facts of the Persecution

Recently, lawless police in Weidu District, Xuchang City, Henan Province have frequently stormed into Falun Dafa practitioners' homes, illegally searched their homes, and forcefully abducted Falun Dafa practitioners. Fan Jinzhi, Liu Jinfeng, Wang Yuling, Wang Chunxia, Liu Guihua, Zhang Hongye, and Chen Xiulan have been illegally abducted and detained.
