Teenage girl persecuted and forced into homelessness in Weifang City, Shandong Province

Ms. Hou Qian is a 21-year-old Falun Gong practitioner in the Fangzi District, Weifang City, Shandong Province. In January 2001, officers from the Qianmen Police Station arrested the then 18-year-old Hou Qian when she was validating Dafa in Tiananmen Square. The officers shocked her with electric batons. Later, she was illegally held at the Shunyi Detention Center in Beijing. Several days later she was sent to the Fangzi Coal Mine Hotel. She jumped from a window and escaped. In the summer of 2002, Hou Qian distributed Falun Dafa truth clarification materials in Jinan City, was again arrested and unlawfully held over 20 days. The perpetrators from Jinan City "610 Office" extorted 3,800 Yuan from her family. She was hospitalized twice during detention because she was extremely weak from torture. After she returned to the Fangzi District, she was taken to a hospital where she received intravenous infusions for seven days. She was then sent to the Bamalu Detention Center in the Fangzi District and was held there over 20 days. These perpetrators extorted 10,000 Yuan from her family before releasing her. In order to avoid further persecution, Hou Qian, left home and has not been able to return.

Falun Gong practitioner Dai Le in Yunnan Province illegally sentenced to prison for the second time

Ms. Dai Le is a 39-year-old Falun Gong practitioner. In June 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal and was arrested. She was taken back to Yunnan Province by perpetrators from the Wuding Police Department in Lufeng. They sentenced her to two years of forced labor and sent her to the Dabanqiao Female Forced Labor Camp where she was cruelly tortured. She was released in October 2002. In July 2003, she played truth clarification VCD(s) at home and was arrested by perpetrators from the Wuding "610 Office." She was sentenced to three years in prison and is now being held at Dabanqiao Female Forced Labor Camp.

Eighteen Falun Gong practitioners abducted in Qiqihar City

On November 18, 2004, over 100 colorful banners and posters that read, "Falun Dafa is good" appeared in the Fulaerji District streets in Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province. Perpetrators from Qiqihar City's Police Department and from the "610 Office" were shocked and rushed to the Fulaerji District to hold a meeting. They came up with a plan to persecute Falun Gong practitioners and assigned this plan to grass-roots officials. Police officers from nine police stations in Fulaerji District carried out the plan with fanatical vehemence. We have heard that 18 practitioners have been abducted including Xie Zhenzhou, Xie Li and Xie Bing. According to an incomplete estimate, nearly 40 practitioners' homes were ransacked.
