Media Reports of Falun Gong Practitioners Appeal to Premier Wen Jiabao in the U.K.

(Clearwisdom.net, May 10, 2004) Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao arrived in the U.K. on May 9. Falun Gong practitioners rallied in front of the Chinese Embassy to welcome Wen Jiabao. Practitioners requested to bring the perpetrators in the persecution of Falun Gong, Jiang Zemin and his accomplices, to justice. According to a report from Minghui Net (the Chinese version of Clearwisdom Net), U.K. Falun Gong practitioners recently filed a lawsuit again human rights criminal Bo Xilai. Bo was governor of Liaoning Province before he assumed the post of Minister of Commerce. During his tenure as Liaoning governor, according to Clearwisdom Net, Bo actively implemented the persecution of Falun Gong, and as a result at least 90 Falun Gong practitioners in Liaoning died due to torture by December 1, 2003.

Bloomberg.com and Scotsman.com reported Falun Gong practitioner's appeal. Falun Gong practitioners "carried out meditation exercises opposite the embassy, near Oxford Circus," the report of Bloomber.com said.
