Hong Kong: Falun Dafa Practitioners Hold Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference and Grand Parade against the Persecution (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Clearwisdom Net Correspondent Wang Ying reports from Hong Kong -- On May 1, the 2004 Hong Kong Falun Dafa Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference was solemnly held at Ming'ai Service Center in Kowloon, Hong Kong. Nearly 700 Falun Gong practitioners from Taiwan, Canada, Australia, the United States, Malaysia, Thailand, Macau and Hong Kong attended this conference. On May 2, practitioners rallied at the Victoria Park, located between Causeway Bay and Tin Hau, Victoria Harbor and held a grand parade with the theme "Falun Gong peacefully and rationally opposing the persecution," demanding the Jiang's group to immediately release all imprisoned Falun Gong practitioners and stop the persecution.

(Clearwisdom.net) Brugg High School held an activity entitled "Chinese Culture Week." There was an exhibition of paintings by the painter Zhang Cuiying and teachers invited Ms. Dai Zhizhen to introduce the goodness of Falun Gong, with the story of her daughter Fadu illustrated by slides. Every student read one paragraph of Fadu's story one after another, realizing the fortune and benevolence brought into Fadu's family through cultivation of Falun Gong. Nevertheless, Jiang's wicked group brutally persecuted such a good practice causing the death of Fadu's father who stuck to his belief in Falun Gong and his determination in Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance.

California: Falun Gong Practitioners Hold "Goodness Prevails Over Violence and Hatred" Seminar at the University of California, Berkeley (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On the evening of April 28, 2004, Northern California Falun Gong practitioners held "Goodness Prevails Over Violence and Hatred" seminar at the University of California, Berkeley (UCB). In the seminar, practitioners pointed out that Falun Gong practitioners in China and overseas have used all peaceful approaches to clarify the facts of the persecution and call for an immediate end of the persecution. The representatives of some non-governmental organizations expressed their support for Falun Gong and condemned the persecution. Some professors and students of UCB also attended the seminar.
