(Clearwisdom.net) On November 3, 2005, Minghui (Chinese version of Clearwisdom.net) carried the news that Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Li Xiyun was tortured to death at the Liaoning Province Women's Prison. An insider has now provided more detailed information about how Li Xiyun was tortured to death.

Ms. Li Xiyun, about 51 years old, lived in Fushun City, Liaoning Province. Because she practiced Falun Gong, she was illegally detained in the Liaoning Province Women's Prison. Due to long-term ruthless torture at the prison, Li Xiyun developed heart disease. However, the prison guards still forced her to meet the heavy quota of forced labor.

In order to seek illegal profits, the prison forces Falun Gong practitioners and other prisoners to do heavy-duty work. From November 17 to December 31, 2003, the prison guards forced the prisoners to work overtime 43 days in a row. The prisoners worked from 5:00 a.m. until 1:00 or 2:00 a.m. the next morning, sometimes even for 24 hours straight. Each day, the prisoners were only permitted to rest for a maximum of one or two hours.

On November 13, 2003, Falun Gong practitioner Li Xiyun was forced to sew until 2:30 a.m. She was so tired that she could not hold herself up, and her heart condition was deteriorating. At 6:00 a.m., when they were about to resume working, the prisoner in charge found that Li Xiyun was having difficulty breathing. She told the head guard on duty about Ms. Li's situation and asked for sick leave for her. However, Sun Chunhua, the head guard on duty, shouted: "No! No matter what her situation, she has to work! If she cannot walk, you just drag her to the workshop!"

Afterwards, several prisoners took turns carrying Li Xiyun to the workshop. The head guards, Sun Chunhua and Guo Yanbin held off on sending the critically ill Ms. Li to the hospital for emergency treatment until other team leaders went to the workshop. As a result, Ms. Li Xiyun died on the way to the hospital.
