1. [Anping County, Hebei Province] Falun Dafa Practitioner Zhang Suzhen on a Hunger Strike to Protest the Persecution
On May 18, 2006, Sun Yihe, Anping County Political Security Division Chief Zhao Xuguang, Madian Township Police Station chief and other policemen went to the Bolin Primary School and arrested Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Zhang Suzhen and Mr. Wang Zhisheng who were teaching classes. The two practitioners are presently being held at the county's detention center.
Practitioner Zhang Suzhen has been on a hunger strike for four days. An Lanzhou, the county police department deputy chief, and Zhang Moqiang, the detention center chief, commanded five criminals to force-feed practitioner Zhang Suzhen, thus she is in poor health.

2. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Ms. Liu Junlian Being Held at the Zhangshi Brainwashing Class
On May 18, 2006, personnel from the Santaizi Police Station arrested practitioner Ms. Liu Junlian from the Dadong District in Shenyang City when she was posting Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials. At present, Ms. Liu is being held at the Zhangshi Brainwashing Class for persecution.
3. [Baiyin City, Gansu Province] Practitioner Ms. Jia Peifu Secretly Sentenced to Four Years of Imprisonment
Practitioner Mr. Jian Peifu, in his 60s, used to be the Security Section chief of the Baiyin City Construction Bank in Gansu Province. On July 30, 2005, he was illegally arrested and held at the local detention center. Recently, he was secretly sentenced to four years of imprisonment and is presently being held at the Lanzhou City Dashaping Prison in Gansu Province.

5. [Tianjin] Practitioner Ms. Sun Shuping Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Sun Shuping from the Nankai District, Tianjin City, 44 years old, often clarifies the truth of Falun Gong at her booth in the intersection of Anshanxi Avenue and Baiti Street. On May 21, 2006, police arrested Ms. Sun and confiscated Dafa books and truth-clarifying materials from her home at night. Sun Shuping is presently being held at the district detention center.
6. [Beijing] Practitioner Zhou Jing Sentenced to Two and a Half Years of Forced Labor
On February 24, 2006, Guo Wei from the Andingmen Police Station arrested practitioner Zhou Jing and ransacked Zhou Jing's home. Later, Zhou Jing was sentenced to two and a half years of forced labor.
7. [Qingyuan County, Hebei Province] Practitioners Ma Huimin and Gu Panfu Arrested
At 4:00 p.m. on May 20, 2006, four policemen including Tian Hu and Jianwei from Beiwangli Township Police Station in Qingyuan County, Hebei Province broke into a practitioner's home and arrested practitioners Ma Huimin and Gu Panfu.
8. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Ms. Dong Guizhen Arrested
During the night of May 17, 2006, police arrested practitioner Ms. Dong Guizhen from Laizhou City, Shandong Province when she was distributing truth-clarifying materials. Her whereabouts are unknown.

In the afternoon of May 18, 2006, police from Mengtuan Town arrested practitioner Ms. Wang Ying, 48 years old who lives in the Mizhou Commerce Hall in Zhucheng City. They also arrested Ms. Xiao Cairong, 62 years old, who lives in the Southern Residential Building of the Huazhu Hotel, when the practitioners were clarifying the truth and distributing truth-clarifying materials at a market in Mengtuan Town. Currently, the two practitioners are being held at the city's detention center. Detailed information needs further investigation.
During the afternoon of May 21, 2006, police ransacked the home of practitioner couple Mr. Lou Yunrong, in his 50s, and Ms. Li Fengmei, in her 50s, in Xinzhuangzi Village, Changcheng Town, Zhucheng City. The couple was put into the city's detention center.

It is known that on May 23, 2006, practitioner Zhang Xiaojie, a teacher at the Qinhuandao Advanced Technician School, was forced to suspend class for talking about the Falun Gong issue to the students. The incident stirred up the whole school. Teachers and students were talking about it, which is a very good opportunity to clarify the truth to people.

12. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Practitioner Ma Yuan Arrested and Taken to the Shayang Forced Labor Camp
On April 29, 2006, practitioner Mr. Ma Yuan from Zhongxiang City, Hubei Province was illegally arrested and taken to the Shayang Forced Labor Camp for a one-year prison term.
During the evening of March 14, 2006, about 20 policemen broken into Ma Yuan's home and sent him to the Wuhan City Brainwashing Class. During the arrest, policemen neither showed their ID, nor found any of the "evidence" they claimed they would find. Thus, they took and sent Mr. Ma to a forced labor camp without cause. They also confiscated personal belongings including a computer from his home. His family has not been permitted to see Ma Yuan and also could not request the return of all the confiscated items.
Ma Yuan's whole family lives by making old fashioned handbags at 20 cents each. His mother is in her 80s. His son is in middle school. Ma Yuan and his wife have been unemployed for years. The whole family is experiencing huge suffering since Ma Yuan was sent to the camp.

On April 18, 20006, police arrested practitioner Ms. Pi Juan from her home in the Kaifu District, Changsha City. They ransacked her home and sent her to the Changsha City Detention Center.
14. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Practitioners Tortured at Hunan Province Women's Prison
The authorities from Hunan Province Women's Prison forced practitioners including Ms. Zhang Furong to stand continuously for 24 hours. Practitioner Ms. He Bigang from Loudi City is being tortured in that prison, too.
15. [Xianning City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wang Longying Arrested
At around 4:30 p.m. on May 16, 2006, Zeng Guohua, the Political Security section chief of the Xian'an District Police Department, Xianning City, and two other policemen broke into Ms. Wang Longying's dental clinic and forcibly took Ms. Wang, in her 50s, away without due cause. Wang Longying lost one tooth during the struggle. She is presently being held at the Xian'an District No. 1 Detention Center. This is her third arrest. The first two times were in 2001 and 2003 when she was also extorted out of 7,000 yuan.
16. [Guizhou Province] Kuai Yajing and Ren Zhaorong Persecuted at the Lannigou Brainwashing Class
Practitioner Kuai Yajing from Guizhou Province walked out from the Zhongba Forced Labor Camp in April 2006 with the power of righteous thoughts. On May 16, 2006 she was arrested again and sent to the Lannigou Brainwashing Class.
During the morning of May 16, 2006, practitioner Ms. Ren Zhaorong was arrested and taken to the Lannigou Brainwashing Class when she was shopping at a vegetable market.
17. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Four Practitioners Including Chen Wen and Zhang Shujun Arrested
On March 29, 2006, personnel from the Nanchang City Police Department, the Qingyunpu Police Station, the Qingshanhu Police Station, the Jingshan Police Station, as well as agents from the Daishan Police Station arrested four practitioners and destroyed a truth-clarifying materials production site.
It is known that after practitioner Chen Wen and Zhang Shujun were arrested, Jingshan Police Station authorities tortured them with the "Big Hang Up" (hung up in the air with hands cuffed behind the back).

18. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Zhao Qunshan Arrested and Taken to the Xinkaipu Forced Labor Camp for Torture - belated news -
During the evening of December 29, 2005, local people reported practitioner Mr. Zhao Qunshan from Yueyang City when he was distributing truth-clarifying materials on his new motorcycle (costs about 5,000 yuan, License plate number: 05A17266).
Policemen from Xushi Town, Junshan District, Yueyang City handcuffed him with his arms behind his back for a whole night. The next day, Fu Zhu'ai, Li Qiliang and Zhao Wenhua from the district's 610 Office hung him up by the handcuffs and beat his head with a blunt instrument. Mr. Zhao's underwear was wet with blood. Afterwards, Zhao Qunshan was sentenced to one year of forced labor and is presently being held at the Xinkaipu Forced Labor Camp. His family members went to the district's 610 Office many times to request his release and the return of his motorcycle. Instead of complying with the family's reasonable requests, the authorities threatened them.

During the afternoon of May 18, 2006, personnel from the Hebaohu Police Station led by Huang Yongdong from the Dongxihu District's 610 Office arrested practitioner Mr. Wang Yonggang from his work place and took him to the Qiaokou District Brainwashing Class.
20. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] A Practitioner Named Mu Arrested
During the afternoon of May 22, 2006, practitioner Ms. Mu, from Qinhuangdao City, was arrested when distributing truth-clarifying materials on the Xihuan Road, Haigang District. Her home was ransacked in the evening. Detailed information is not known.
21. [Fuding City, Fujian Province] Practitioner Mr. Zhuang Youbu Arrested at Home
On May 23, 2006, police arrested practitioner Mr. Zhuang Youbu from Fuding City, Fujian Province. He is presently being held at the Fuding City Detention Center.
22. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Practitioner Quan Peijun Still Detained and Tortured
In January 2001, practitioner Mr. Quan Peijun from Zhengzhou City was illegally arrested and sentenced to one year of forced labor for distributing truth-clarifying materials in the streets. The policemen didn't release him when his term ended, but instead transferred Mr. Quan to a senior center for eight more months of detention. Afterwards he was sentenced to one year of forced labor. Quan Peijun's forced labor term was once again extended for six months, until August 2004. His relatives went to the Baimiao Forced Labor Camp in Zhengzhou City to see him prior to August 2004, but were refused visiting privileges. The policemen deceived his relatives and told them not to come again, saying they would release Mr. Quan immediately after the detention term expires. The relatives went to fetch Quan Peijun the end of August 2004, but were told that personnel from the Shangjie District Political and Judiciary Committee and from the Transportation Section of the Changcheng Aluminium Company had taken him away.
The relatives went next to the Political and Judiciary Committee to find him, but Li Meng working there told them that Mr. Quan was sent to a "class" held at the Wanqing Resort in the Xiliuhu District in Zhengzhou City. Two years have since passed and Quan Peijun has still not been released, just because he refuses to renounce Dafa.

Not long ago, Wuyi County 610 Office agents illegally arrested many practitioners. It was reported that practitioner Ms. Zheng Weihong has been arrested.
25. [Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province] In 2002, Several Practitioners were Tortured to Death According to a Criminal Prisoner's Testimony from the Suihua Forced Labor Camp
All practitioners illegally detained in Qiqihar City, Jiagedaqi City, Daqing City and Heilongjiang City have been transferred to the Suihua Forced Labor Camp. The camp built a new five-story building. More than 1,000 practitioners have already been imprisoned there. According to a criminal prisoner, several practitioners were tortured to death in the forced labor camp in 2002.
According to an insider, practitioner Mr. Wang Daming from Mingshui County was forbidden to be released on bail until he was almost dead from torture and abuse.
26. [Jieyang City, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Huang Jianmin Tortured at the Sanshui Brainwashing Class
At about 6:00 a.m. on May 19, agents from the Dongshan District in Jieyang City, Guangdong Province waited in a police car outside of practitioner Mr. Huang Jianmin's shop. At about 7:00 a.m., as soon as Mr. Huang's wife opened the door, a group of policemen broke into the shop without showing their identifications. They forcibly took Huang Jianming away and sent him immediately to the Sanshui Brainwashing Class in Guangdong Province for persecution.

27. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Incidents of Persecution of Practitioner Ji Fengyun -belated news-
In October 1999, Ms. Ji Fengyun went to Beijing to validate Dafa. Policeman Li Kun from the Beishan Police Station in Jilin City arrested her after her return and attempted to force her to denounce Master Li and Dafa. Ji Fengyun refused. Then agent Li Kun illegally detained Ji Fengyun for 15 days. Ji Fengyun was later fired by the Jilin City Wool Mill, which has since gone bankrupt.
In September 2000, Ji Fengyun went to Beijing to validate Dafa again but personnel from the Beishan Police Station arrested her at the Jilin City Train Station. She was subsequently sent to the Jilin City Detention Center and held there for 15 days.
On July 9, 2002, Linjiang Police Station's former chief (surnamed Wang) and policemen Li Kun and Luan Hui arrested Ji Fengyun from her home and transported her to the Linjiang Police Station. During the arrest, Li Kun locked her husband in the kitchen and another police took her away. Ji Fengyun was soon released because of her poor health.
In January 2005, Xi Daohong from the Beishan Police Station led a group of officers from the Jilin City Police Department and went to Ji Fengyun's home to harass her. When they found some truth-clarifying materials at her home they ransacked the whole house. Ji Fengyun's family strongly protested this ransacking, and thus the police gave up.
