(Clearwisdom.net) Henan Provincial Women's Forced Labor Camp, which is also called Henan Provincial Number One Forced Labor Camp, is located in Shibalihe, Zhengzhou City. It is the primary forced labor camp designated for female detainees. The labor camp's number three team is the most notorious unit that not only persecutes unlawfully detained Falun Gong practitioners but also their families, especially during the day of interview. The labor camp is under the leadership of director Qu, political commissar Zhang, the head of the number three team, Jia Meili, as well as Hu Shaoxia, Ma Lan, Han Jizi, and others.
Interviews are held on the fifth and twentieth of each month. August 20 was interview day for a practitioner's family. Most of the family came very early and waited in line to apply for permission. At 8:30 a.m., the commissar of the forced labor camp staff arrived. Someone from the practitioner's family asked the security staff, "When will permissions be issued?" The staff member stated, "The official in charge just arrived, but he has to change his clothes so it may start at 9:00 a.m."
Not until 9:30 a.m. did the official began to work. First, they needed to check a list that they had set up themselves to see if the applicant was already on the list, which would mean that the applicant was allowed to see their detained family member. Second, they needed to check both their registered permanent residence records and their IDs.
The officials in charge of issuing permission are from the administration section of the camp. The official with badge number 4143027 is said to be the head of the section, one young official did not wear a uniform, and another official with badge number 4143122 sitting in the boss's chair was there to supervise the issuing process.
When they arrived at the door, the family was asked to sign a statement. The statement consisted of two paragraphs: the first paragraph contained malicious words that insulted and cursed the Teacher of Falun Gong, and the second paragraph acknowledged that the forced labor and brainwashing of Falun Gong practitioners is legal action and is "saving" Falun Gong practitioners. A female guard with badge number 4143024 frequently reminded the applicant to clearly see the content of the statement. Any applicant who refused to sign the statement would be refused permission to see his or her detained family member.
They also did not admit an illiterate older lady. The guard with badge number 4143024 told her to slander Falun Gong. The old lady refused. Then she was told to say "I do not practice Falun Gong." The security staff and guards from the administration section all surrounded her, and the family waiting in line also pressed her to sign the statement. The official with badge number 4143122 sat behind the female guard to supervise her.
Once the interview started for the family who was requesting permission, the interview lasted for only thirty minutes.
Some families attributed these long and painful waiting periods to Falun Gong. Most of them say that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is bad, but they do not realize that the forced labor camp is a concrete manifestation of the CCP's evil nature. It has turned the Chinese police system into a monster used to persecute Falun Gong practitioners and their families.
