1. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Practitioner Tu Guofan Illegally Arrested
Officers from the Xihu Political & Security Division arrested practitioners Mr. Tu Guofan, Mr. Wang Qingyun, Mr. Shi Langen and Mr. Tao Fu. The “truth clarification” material production site was destroyed. Several days later, more practitioners, including Mr. Wu Laiting, Mr. Wei Qiang, Ms. Gong Taorong and Ms. Zhao Zhurong were arrested.
They beat male practitioners brutally: Mr. Shi Langen could barely stand anymore, his mouth was swollen and he was covered with blood. Mr. Wu Laiting suffered injuries all over his body and cannot stand unaided.
Mr. Gong Taorong escaped. They went to his home to ransack it. Failing to find Mr. Gong, they arrested his mother.
The police also ransacked Ms. Zhao Shurong’s home after she was arrested.
2. [Fuxin City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Zhao Hua in Grave Danger Due to Torture
In 2002, Ms. Zhao Hua was arrested and sentenced to 7 years. She is imprisoned at Shenyang No. 2 Prison. She has been on hunger strike for 58 days and was transferred to the prison’s hospital. Her life is in grave danger.
3. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Practitioner Mei Ting on Hunger Strike
Practitioner Ms. Mei Ting was forced to become homeless to avoid being persecuted in 2006. On March 4, 2007, officers from the national security division and police arrested her at her rented apartment. She is now imprisoned. Mei Ting is on a hunger strike to protest the imprisonment.
4. [Wenling, Zhejiang Province] Seven Practitioners Arrested and Detained – Materials Production Site Destroyed
Police arrested Mr. Han Ping, from Wenling, Zhejiang Province, Ms. Huang Honghui and five other practitioners. They detained the practitioners in a detention center. The truth clarification materials production site was destroyed.
5. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Several Practitioners Arrested
On March 14 and 15, 2007, staff from the National Security Division and Public Security Bureau and its affiliations in Jilin City arrested the following practitioners: Ms. Zhang Shulan, Ms. Zhang Shuhua, Mr. Guo Yunqing, Ms. Guo Fengyin, Ms. Du Hongfang, Ms. Wang Minli, Mr. Wu Jianying and Mr. Wu. Almost all of them are imprisoned at the Jilin City Detention Center. Zhang Shuhua, Guo Fengyin and Du Hongfang were detained at the Xingcheng Police Station on the 15th.

7. [Jilin Province] Atrocities at the Jilin Prison
Jilin Prison in Jilin Province imprisons many practitioners. They had been sentenced to five or more years. In March, the prison officials attempted to have those practitioners who were to be released soon write the “three statements.” Those who refused would be taken to a brainwashing center for further persecution. They also forced family members to put pressure on the practitioners to renounce Falun Dafa. They threatened family members during family visits, and claimed that if the practitioner does not write the three statements, he or she would not be released.

8. [Qian’an County, Jilin Province] Practitioner Piao Yuzhen Secretly Arrested
Ms. Piao Yuzhen from Gan’an Township, Qian’an County, 60 years old, is disabled. On March 2, 2007, she was arrested when she was alone at home. She is now imprisoned at the detention center in Qian’an County.
9. [Shenyang, Liaoning Province] Authorities at Dabei Women's Prison Torture Practitioner Zhang Lina
Ms. Zhang Lina from Dalian City, in her 30s, has been detained at the Shenyang Dabei Prison No. 8 Division and No. 4 Group for three years. She suffered inhuman torture at the hands of inmates. They threw her under the bed while still shackled, deprived her of sleep, stripped her naked, and poured cold water on her in the middle of winter. After torturing her, they would strip her and tie her to the bunk bed with her hands over her head and stretched wide apart and tied to the upper level bed. Her feet were tied to the lower level bed. Then they asked all inmates to come in to look at her to humiliate her. The inmates said the dirtiest things in front of her.
The wardens also used the most vicious inmates including Zheng Zhenqiu, Bi Bo, Li Na, Wang Peng, and Wu Qiu to beat Zhang Lina, and they even kicked her private parts. As a result, she has lost control of her bladder. In addition, they would pinch her nipples and wrote slanderous words on her body.
10. [Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Yu Chunyan Imprisoned
In October 2006, police officers from Longgang Police Subdivision arrested Ms. Yu Chunyan and ransacked her home. They confiscated Falun Dafa materials. She still is imprisoned in the Daqing Detention Center. She was sentenced to a three-year prison term.

12. [Shanghai] Atrocities Committed Against Practitioners at Qingpu Prison
Someone tipped off police when I was distributing truth clarification materials. They took me to the forced labor camp in Qingpu without any legal justification or due process. I was given a blood test while there. Since I refused to cooperate, they deprived me of sleep. I was not allowed to go to bed until 2 to 3 a.m. although I had been up since 5:30 a.m. They forced me to watch videos and read books that defamed Falun Dafa. My eyes are not functioning properly now. I also had to sit on a small bench for a long time.
Practitioner Zhou Yazhen refused to cooperate. She suffered a mental collapse from the torture. Ms. Chen Shiying, another practitioner, also suffered a mental breakdown.
13. [Beijing] Practitioner Liu Huirong Arrested by Agents of National Security Division
In March 2007, secret agents arrested Ms. Liu Huirong from Longxiang District, Huilongguan, Changping District, Beijing, when she was telling people about Falun Gong. She is now held at Changping District Detention Center.
14. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Wu Shizhong Transferred from a Labor Camp to Huangtai Police Station Due to High Blood Pressure
Song Qian and Li Yulei from Huangtai Police Station, Jinan City, confiscated the computer and printer owned Mr. Wu Shizhong’s child. During his detention, Mr. Wu was not admitted to Jinan Forced Labor Camp due to high blood pressure. In the afternoon of March 15, he was taken back to Huangtai Police Station. The officials are planning to sentence him to Wangcun Forced Labor Camp for one year and nine months.

15. [Shandong Province] More Information on Practitioner Ren Huaiqiang’s Arrests
On March 12, 2007, at around 9 a.m., Zheng Li, National Security Division Head of Jidong Police Subdivision, arrested Mr. Ren Huiqiang at his parents’ home. Ren Huaiqiang is an employee of the Electrolytic Aluminum Factory of Yankuang Group. His wife Jiang Guimei was sentenced earlier to one year and six months of forced labor, leaving their daughter to fend for herself. The daughter had to drop out of school due to lack of money. Mr. Ren’s impoverished elderly parents take care of his teenage son.
On January 14, 2007, Zheng Li arrested Mr. Ren and took him to the brainwashing center in Yanzhou. He went on a hunger strike to protest his maltreatment. The brainwashing center did not take him in. His wife Jiang Guimei was also arrested and taken to Zoucheng City Detention Center. One month later, she was taken for one year and six months to the Women's Forced Labor Camp in Shandong Province.
16. [Laiyang City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Gao Shufeng and Others Arrested by Laiyang City’s 610 Office
Staff from the 610 Office of Laiyang City arrested seven practitioners, including, Ms. Gao Shufeng and Ms. Song Yuhua from Huanjiagao when posting Falun Dafa signs in Gezhuang Village. All seven of them are imprisoned at a brainwashing center in the Laiyang Chinese Communist Party’s School.
17. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Xu Zhifeng Becomes Homeless to Avoid Persecution
On March 15, 2007, at around 8 p.m. Mr. Xu Zhifeng, who works for the Shandong Sales Company of China Petroleum in Qingdao City, was arrested at the entrance of his apartment by a dozen plain-clothes police when coming home from work. They took him to Huayang Road Police Station in Shibei District, Qingdao City and shackled him to an iron chair for 34 hours. They stole 2,300 “yuan” from Mr. Xu, his bank-card with a balance of 4,000 yuan, a shopping card with a value of 800 yuan, a palm pilot worth 1,500 yuan and other personal belongings. They also beat him. Mr. Xu’s home in Cuobuling was also ransacked. They confiscated many items. Mr. Xu escaped on March 17. Now he is homeless and without a job to support himself so as to avoid being arrested again.
18. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Wang Kangning Arrested
In March 2007, Mr. Wang Kangning, who rented a room on Tianjin Road, Qingdao City, was arrested. He is 38 and has been imprisoned in a forced labor camp twice.
19. [Yantai, Shandong Province] Practitioner Yu Hengzhi, Hou Fenghua Sentenced to Forced Labor
In February 8, 2007, police officers from the Shuidao Township Police Station arrested Ms. Yu Hengzhi and Ms. Hou Fenghua when they were posting up signs on a wall. They are detained at Yantai Mouping District Detention Center. After one month, Yu Hengzhi was sentenced to one year of forced labor and taken to Wangcun Women's Forced Labor Camp in Zibo. Hou Fenghua was sentenced to two years of forced labor at No. 2 Forced Labor Camp in Zibo City.
20. [Fengnan Area, Hebei Province] Update on Practitioner Li Xueyong
Mr. Li Xueyong from Liutangbao, Daodi Township, Fengnan Area, was forced to flee his home after local township officials harassed him on February 28, 2007. He returned home on March 8, 2007.
21. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Fu Yafeng Suffers Brainwashing
Local police arrested Ms. Fu Yafeng, from Nanyu Village, Shimen Zhai, Funing County, in Daji, Zhimenzhai Township, on January 16, 2007. She was taken to Funing County Detention Center. When her term was up, she was transferred to a brainwashing center. She is still being held there.
22. [Shangcai County, Henan Province] Practitioner Zhang Lizhu Arrested
On March 12, police from Hedian Township Police Station, Shangcai County, and staff from the provincial and county 610 Office broke into Mr. Zhang Lizhu’s home in Zhang Village. He is a practitioner from Hedian Township. They ransacked his home. They arrested him and detained him at the Shangcai County Detention Center.

23. [Shangqiu City, Henan Province] Practitioner Yang Ruiyun Arrested Again
After Yucheng County Police arrested Ms. Wang Jingping and Mr. Song Shengli, they arrested Ms. Yang Ruiyun on August 23, 2006. They held her for three months and only notified her family members to pick her up when she was dying as result of torture.
24. [Ruichang City, Jiangxi Province] Practitioner Xiao Shuimu Arrested
Ms. Xiao Shuimu from Ruichang City, 57 years old, was arrested on July 15, 2005, when distributing truth clarification materials. Xiao Shuimu escaped from the detention center, despite being shackled and watched by a guard. He became homeless to avoid further persecution.
In March 2007, Mr. Xiao’s 98-year-old mother died and he had to return home for the funeral preparations. On the 13th, at around 10 a.m., he was arrested by three police officers from the Pencheng Police Subdivision of Ruchang City Public Security Bureau. One of the police officers is Zhang Shaoxi. Mr. Xiao is now imprisoned at Ruichang City Wanbaoshan Detention Center. It is assumed that he will receive 1 to 2 years of forced labor.

25. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Wang Minli and Other Practitioners Arrested
In March 2007, practitioner Ms. Wang Minli, Ms. Qu Guiying and other practitioners from Jilin City were arrested. The materials production site near Wenmiao was destroyed.

Ms. He Ying and Ms Zhang Huiling were arrested because they distributed Chinese New Year Spectacular DVDs.
27. [Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Fu Zhenmin Illegally Sentenced
Police from Xingfu Police Station arrested practitioner Fu Zhenmin from Xingxing Village, Shuangcheng City. They also ransacked his home. Mr. Fu was given a one-year sentence.
28. [Emeishan City, Sichuan Province] Practitioners Xiong Guihua and Peng Xiulian Arrested
On March 13, 2007 at 11:00 p.m., Emeishan City Falun Dafa practitioners Xiong Guihua, in her sixties, and Ms. Peng Xiuian, around 70 years old, were arrested at home. The police ransacked their home. They are still imprisoned.
29. [Xinjiang Autonomous Region] Practitioner Chen Liangjun from Zhongyuan Oilfield Arrested
On March 15, 2007, Mr. Chen Liangjun was on a business trip and traveled from Luntai County to Kuerle. He talked to the taxi driver about Falun Gong. Someone reported him to the police. The police chief from Luntai County Public Security Bureau brought 8 police officers to arrest Chen Liangjun and ransacked his office and dormitory. They took away many truth clarification materials. Mr. Chen is now detained at the Luntai County Public Security Bureau Detention Center.

30. [Wangcheng County, Hunan Province] Sisters Yu Yinyu and Yu Yuhua Arrested
Ms. Yu Yinyu and Ms. Yu Yuhua from Xinsheng Cement Factory, Wangcheng County, were distributing truth clarification materials on March 13 in Hanpu Township, Wangcheng County. Someone reported them to the police and they were arrested. They are held at Wangcheng County Detention Center.

31. [Chengdu, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Li Zhen Arrested
On the evening of February 21, 2007, Ms. Li Zhen from Langzhong and two fellow practitioners went to Jinhua Township Brainwashing Center, Wuhou District, Chengdu City to send forth righteous thoughts. They also tried to put truth clarification materials through holes in the wall of the brainwashing center. Someone saw them and called the police. Ma Birong was taken to Jinhua Brainwashing Center and released on March 9. Ms. Li Zhen was taken to Jitou Police Station and beaten up in an attempt to “transform” her. She did not give in.
Three days later, Li Zhen was taken to No. 4 Prison in Pi County. Her current whereabouts are unknown.
32. [Meizhou,Guangdong Province] Practitioner Tang Chaoyu Put on Trial at Jiangling Court
Practitioner Mr. Tang Chaoyu from Jiaoling, Meizhou County, Guangdong Province was arrested on October 25, 2006. He was put on trial on March 13, 2007 at the Jiaoling Court.

33. [Guangdong Province] Atrocities Committed Against Practitioners at No. 2 Forced Labor Camp in Shenzhen
April 2005, the No. 2 Forced Labor Camp of Shenzhen City changed its Strict Management Office designation to No.10 Division (specifically for Falun Dafa practitioners) and No. 9 Division. Since 2000, they have held more than 200 practitioners.
They force practitioners to write the three statements, directing inmates to beat the practitioners, force them to sit military style, remain motionless, and deprived them of sleep. Practitioners on a hunger strike are force-fed.
Zhao Zhaosen was shocked with an electric baton by Zhang Jialiang. His hair turned yellow as a result. The guards also submerged practitioner Chen Zeqi’s head in water for several minutes. Practitioner Xie Tangtao suffered brainwashing for 6 months, after his term was up at the forced labor camp. Many practitioners have endured physical and mental torture at this forced labor camp.

In March 2006, Chen Shi and others arrested Mr. Zheng Yingqiu. He was held at Chengdu City Xinjin Brainwashing Center for six months. Chen Shi stole Zheng Yingqiu’s social security and medical benefits and planned to sentence him.
