(Clearwisdom.net) I am a practitioner from Liaoning Province. After I came to the United States, I discovered that some practitioners practiced the exercises without a shirt on or just in their underwear. I feel that this is not appropriate and would like to share my thoughts.
When I began to practice Falun Gong in July of 1996, I attended group practice every day. Because of limited time and our surroundings, we did the first four exercises together and the fifth one individually at home. One afternoon in August 1996, I was about to do the fifth exercise. Because it was very hot, I did not wear a shirt. By accident, I just happened to glance at Teacher's portrait. He looked very serious. When I did well in the past, Teacher always appeared to be smiling. I felt very strange and asked, "Teacher, did I do something wrong?" Teacher still appeared very serious. I looked around and then looked at myself. I suddenly realized that practicing the exercises was a very sacred and serious issue. How could I do them naked in front of Teacher? I immediately got dressed up and knelt down in front of Teacher's portrait. Then Teacher appeared to be smiling at me. Since then, I have always been respectful whenever I do the exercises or study the Fa.
I would like to remind fellow practitioners that we are all disciples. We should be very clear on how to conduct ourselves and how we treat Teacher and Dafa.
