(Clearwisdom.net) Around me, there are some practitioners who cannot step forward in validating the Fa. My own experience has shown me that if we want to follow the Fa-rectification process, the most important things of all are to believe in Master and to believe in Dafa. We should know what we are doing from our hearts. We cannot want to only gain without every losing. I always consider how even an ordinary person needs to put forth a lot of effort in order to get into college, and for us cultivators, the amount of effort we need to put in must be much greater, given the magnitude of what we are doing in cultivation. Thus, we should act according to what Master requires us to do.
Master said, "It is extremely important for every Dafa disciple to study the Fa well." ("Touring North America to Teach the Fa") Only when we study the Fa well can we do better in saving sentient beings. As we send forth righteous thoughts better to eliminate the evil; the surroundings in our cultivation will be more at ease, and we will be able to clarify the truth and persuade people to quit the CCP smoothly. The other thing is to read Minghui Weekly more, which will also help a lot. We can benefit from knowing fellow practitioners' Fa-rectification experiences and be steadfast going forward, and then finish the great missions that Dafa has bestowed on us.
Some fellow practitioners said that they were not good at persuading people face to face. If we regard ourselves as genuine Dafa disciples in the Fa-rectification period, we will have lots of ways of saving sentient beings. Master said, "Do it with all the wisdom that you can, and as long as something can save the people, go do it." ("Fa-Lecture at the Conference in Florida, U.S.A.") Here I will talk about my own experiences.
Writing truth-clarification letters
During the period in 2001 when I left home to avoid being arrested, I did not have any truth clarifying materials with me. I did not dare to clarify the truth to strangers face to face, so I ended up not doing it for a long time. Later, I thought about how I was a Dafa disciple. Master has given me so much and purified my body. Now Dafa is persecuted; I cannot just hide and remain silent. I must let sentient beings know that Dafa is good. I bought some carbon paper and envelopes. In each letter I would write how the CCP persecuted Falun Dafa and practitioners, and how they lied and fabricated stories. Because I was using carbon paper, when I wrote once, I would have more copies. When I was done, I put the copies into envelopes without a signature. On the envelope, I only wrote "to the president of school X," or "to the secretary of school Y," or "to the "teacher of class Z". I mailed letters to friends, classmates far away, schools, and secretaries in villages in my hometown. Once, a child of my friend said that his class received a truth-clarification letter. It was put on the table and each person read it. This further strengthened my confidence in clarifying the truth. I am clarifying the truth more diligently and putting more effort into it to save sentient beings.
Clarifying the truth to people around us
I met with some fellow practitioners who did not even clarify the truth to their children and relatives. Once I went to a fellow practitioner's home and clarified the truth to his family and his child. I persuaded them to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. It was easy for them to hear about Dafa. I thought that these practitioners did not have a clear understanding, so they did not pay much attention to saving sentient beings. More often than not, if you clarify the truth to your relatives, they will accept it and quit the Party. If we regard our relatives as sentient beings, we will be able to let go of our personal feelings and clarify the truth calmly. If we have a good attitude, we will succeed.
Distributing truth-clarifying materials face to face and persuading people to quit the CCP
I will not give up any chance to save sentient beings. For example, each Chinese New Year, I will prepare truth-clarification materials in advance. I will give them to those who meet me for a short period of time and who do not have enough time to hear the facts about Falun Dafa in depth. Whoever I visit for the New Year, and whoever I meet or comes to visit has a predestined relationship with me. There are some people that I rarely have a chance to meet. So I need to make good use of my time to let them know the truth to save them.
Once I attended my niece's wedding. There were lots of people who attended from all walks of life. I clarified the truth differently to each person according to their ability to accept it. Under the strengthening of Master, I was very successful in convincing people to quit the CCP. For those students who were able to navigate the Internet, I gave each one of them a card to "safely visit Minghui," where there is lots of information to clarify the truth. If they were not able to use the Internet, I gave them a copy of Falun Dafa materials. I reminded them to say "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good," so that they will be safe.
At that time, I talked to a young business owner and asked him whether he was a member of the CCP. He said that he was not interested in joining the Party, because if he joined, he would not be able to go abroad. Then I asked, "Is it because the CCP is afraid party members will quit if they go abroad?" He laughed at this, saying, "Recently, there was a new policy that does not allow a party member to go abroad without higher level approval. Maybe this is the reason." I talked to him about what Falun Gong is, how the CCP persecutes it, and how it would be dangerous if a person did not quit the CCP. That day, I persuaded around eighteen people to quit the CCP.
Once I went out of town to attend a meeting. Some fellow practitioners and I brought Dafa materials and Shen Yun DVDs. We were divided into three groups. I distributed materials to each household along each lane. I reminded myself that I wasn't just helping these people, but also their families and friends, who may hear about Dafa from them later if I did well. I ended up distributing the Shen Yun DVDs face to face. We also distributed them to people passing by on the road. I would give one to each person who was at their stand or in their store. Most people accepted the DVD.
As long as we can save sentient beings, we can use all kinds of methods and take advantage of all kinds of opportunities. As long as we do this, we will gain as long as our hearts are touched and we take action. Please mercifully point out if there is anything inappropriate. I am writing my experience for the first time.
