FDI: U.S. House of Representatives Calls For End to Falun Gong Persecution in China

The U.S. House of Representatives passed a resolution Tuesday urging the Chinese Communist Party to end its decade-long campaign against Falun Gong and expressing solidarity with victims of persecution in China. 

House Resolution 605 recognizes, “the continued persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China on the 11th anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party campaign to suppress the Falun Gong spiritual movement and calling for an immediate end to the campaign to persecute, intimidate, imprison, and torture Falun Gong practitioners.” “The Falun Gong spiritual discipline is based on truthfulness, compassion, and tolerance,” said Ros-Lehtinen. “Yet these innocents are brutally targeted by the Chinese regime. The stark reality which this resolution addresses gives new meaning to the phrase 'Butchers of Beijing.’”

Speech to UN Human Rights Conference Exposes CCP's Abuse of Psychiatric Drugs in the Persecution of Falun Gong

On the morning of March 15, 2010, Mr. Chen Shizhong made a speech at the 13th UN Human Rights Council Conference representing the United Nations Association, San Diego Chapter. He urged the UN Human Rights Council to take action to end the Chinese Communist regime's continuous violation of Falun Gong practitioners' freedom of beliefs. He also pointed out that the Chinese Communist regime has escalated its persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by injecting the practitioners with drugs that harm their nervous system, and further destroy the practitioners' ability to think, to remain steadfast in their beliefs and maintain consciousness. During the conference, the Chinese Communist regime's delegate made several attempts to stop Mr. Chen's speech, but was rejected by the conference's chairman.

Toronto: Residents Celebrate 70 Million Quitting the Chinese Communist Party (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On March 13, 2010, the Service Center for Quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in Toronto held an activity in Chinatown to support the 70 million Chinese who have already quit the CCP and its affiliations. Volunteers of the Service Center and Falun Gong practitioners put up banners and displays to expose the crimes the CCP has committed against Falun Gong practitioners in China. They called on the Chinese people to quit the CCP.
