Ms. Huang indicated that this was the third time she had seen Shen Yun. The first time she saw the show she thought it would be simply an artistic presentation, but later realized that the Shen Yun performance also urges people to do good, and she truly appreciated this about the Shen Yun show.

"The Shen Yun performance is really good. All of the programs, strong as well as soft, are diligently prepared and performed. We should say thank-you ... for bringing such a superb performing arts group to Taiwan. Seeing the show here was a spiritual cleansing. The artistic presentation made me feel happy both spiritually and mentally," she said gratefully.

Ms. Huang was impressed by "Handkerchiefs," "Fairies of the Clouds," and "The Buddha's Teachings Spread Far and Wide." She said, "You become excited when watching these dances. They are very good. Buoyant and delicate, they are so pleasing to watch. The gentle movements and body language of the female dancers were very soothing. When performed by so many dancers, these programs looked spectacular." She added, "I look forward to attending the show next year."

"They don't have to speak, and we can understand the content of the stories by the dancers' body language." With a smile, Ms. Huang said, "We should invite more friends to see the Shen Yun performance."

Company Chairman: "I recommend it to everyone"

Ke Hanzhe, chairman of Ecomax Textile Company, after seeing the first Shen Yun show in Changhua County, was so deeply touched that he attended the second show at Yuanlin Performance Hall on April 7.

"I haven't so deeply appreciated such a performance before... and I'm extremely touched. I recommend it to everyone," Mr. Ke said.

Shen Yun depicts historical legends of China's divinely-inspired culture and also includes ethic traditional tales and modern-day stories of astounding courage.

Mr. Ke appreciated the performances and feels that the values of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" conveyed through the programs was able to "purify human hearts," and restore modern society to a state of purity and harmony, and to help upgrade social morality.

"The Shen Yun Performing Arts is really amazing! It's purity will help upgrade social morality," he concluded.

Award Winning Photographer: "Shen Yun is Very Impressive"

Mr. Huang Yu-Pei, gold award medalist of the nature and landscapes category in the 2009 NTDTV Chinese International Photography Competition, came to Yuanlin Performance Hall to see the Shen Yun Performing Arts New York Company's final show in the Changhua area on April 8, accompanied by his wife. After the performance, Mr. Huang said, "This is the first time I have seen the show. It is truly amazing. Shen Yun is a feast of strength and beauty."

Mr. Huang said, "A performance like Shen Yun is very rare in middle Taiwan." He continued, "No matter whether it is the artistic presentation on the stage or the design of the stage setting, Shen Yun is very impressive."

"Shen Yun pays great attention to its costumes, dancing, and music. The bright colors that the show adopts, when combined with the magnificent stage settings and profound connotations, truly amazed the audience."

Mr. Huang indicated that he particularly enjoyed the dance performances which presented minority ethnic groups, "Of the various pieces, I liked the minority ethnic group dances. For example, the Miao and the Tibetan dances. They are so unique. The body movements of the dancers and the colorful costumes created a coordinated presentation of strength and beauty, which fully manifested the diversity and uniqueness of Chinese culture."

Mr. Huang's photographic work upholds beauty and goodness, and emits a style yearning for natural life. As his work frequently focuses on returning to the orthodox culture, he recognizes the Shen Yun Performing Arts commitment to passing down orthodox Chinese culture through this artistic performance. He said, "The entire show illustrates the historic legends of a divinely-inspired culture. It consists of stories about 'good and evil each have their consequences' and has a spiritual cleansing effect on today's society. It is highly significant."
