WOIPFG Publishes Videos of Persecution Victims

(Clearwisdom.net) The World Organization of Investigation Persecution Falun Gong (WOIPFG) has published seven video recordings of persecuted Falun Gong victims. Some of the stories are told by the victims themselves, but others are narrated because the victims were unable to speak for themselves. Some of the videos were taken shortly before the victims passed away. Most of the videos were recorded after 2007, with the most current one recorded in August 2008. These cases have all been previously reported on the Clearwisdom website, and links to earlier reports are included below.

Taiwan: Falun Gong Practitioners File Lawsuit Against Visiting Chinese Official Huang Huahua and Ask High Court to Issue an Arrest Warrant (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioners filed a lawsuit against Guangdong Provincial Governor Huang Huahua as soon as his plane landed in Taiwan on August 16, 2010. Huang is being sued for crimes of genocide and violating the Civil Rights Convention. A local Falun Gong representative and a lawyer met with a prosecutor in the Taiwan High Prosecutors Office. Having briefed him of Huang's role in the persecution of Falun Gong, the practitioner and the lawyer asked the prosecutor to issue an arrest warrant for Huang.

Aug 17: A middle-aged Falun Gong practitioner, who had been severely tortured in custody, died last month in a prison camp in Tianjin, the Falun Dafa Information Center recently learned.
