(Minghui.org) A year ago, police from Deyang City, Sichuan Province, arrested Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Jian Yicong. Ms. Jian was severely persecuted and became incontinent. Police then released her to avoid having to take responsibility for her condition. In August 2012, Chinese Communist Party (CCP) authorities again broke into her home to arrest her and get her sentenced to jail.
On July 31, 2011, Ms. Jian was clarifying the truth about Falun Gong in the Qingshan area in Huangxu. Officers from the Huangxu Police Station in Deyang City arrested her and took her to the Jingyang District Detention Center. That evening, the National Security Team of the Public Security Bureau of the Jingyang District detained her. On August 5, 2011, her case was transferred to the District Procuratorate, and on August 11, the District Procuratorate announced the approval of her arrest. However, there was no signature on the arrest notice. Ms. Jian’s case has since been delivered to the Jingyang District Court.
After Ms. Jian was arrested, her family wanted to see her. Hong Qi from the National Security Team repeatedly pacified the family, saying that they would be allowed to see her in one or two days. On August 15, 2011, the detention center notified the family that Ms. Jian had become incontinent and asked that they quickly apply for bail for her release. The family believe that the police must have severely tortured her during her interrogation for this to happen to such a healthy person only two weeks after being arrested. What made them even more angry was that the police still harassed her after she returned home, and even claimed that they would sentence her.
On around August 14, 2012, Hong Qi, the captain of the National Security Team of Jingyang District, Deyang City, and officers from Huangxu Town police station broke into Ms. Jian's home, forcing her to sign her name on a document. On August 28, 2012, Ms. Jian was taken away by officers of the Procuratorate to appear in court. Ms. Jian is now at the Jingyang District Detention Center.
Ms. Jian Yicong has benefited both physically and mentally from practicing Falun Gong.
After she started practicing, she followed the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and cultivated herself by doing good deeds. She became healthy and her personality changed for the better, having been previously preoccupied with needless things. She went to see people whom she previously had disagreements with and had not spoken to for years, and improved the tense relationship between them. She became enthusiastic and got on very well with her neighbors. She became generous and kind and quietly helped people out. She would always return lost money if she found it, and she became very well-liked.
In January 2009, while helping to clean someone’s windows, Ms. Jian fell about seven meters and landed on her back. Fractures to her vertebrae resulted in nerve compression. The hospital determined that her condition was serious and said that she would need have to have surgery. However, her family could not afford to pay for the operation so she was discharged. After returning home, she insisted on doing the Falun Gong exercises and studying the Fa. After nine days, she could walk out of the house with the help of her daughter. The following April, she was able to do some work, and by May, she could do all the farm work herself.
Ms. Jian’s experience validates the power of Falun Dafa. She clarified the truth to her neighbors and relatives and hoped that people would learn the truth about Falun Gong and not be deceived by the CCP. She did nothing wrong that would warrant arrest and a jail term.
