1. [Liaoyuan, Jilin Province] Five Practitioners Sentenced to Prison
The Xi'an District Count in Liaoyuan sentenced Mr. Liu Jingjun to 11 years in prison on November 30, 2012. Mr. Cao Weibo was sentenced to 9 years, Ms. Sun Liping to 5.5 years, Mr. Wang Guoxiang to 5 years, and Ms. Zhang Ping to 4 years of imprisonment the same day.
2. [Changchun, Jilin Province] Mr. Wei Min Sentenced to 3 Years in Prison
Mr. Wei Min was recently sentenced to 3 years in prison.
3. [Chenxi County, Hunan Province] Mr. Yu Shaoqi Beaten in Laodahe Brainwashing Center
Qin Shixing, director of the Chenxi 610 Office, led Yu Qingcheng and other Chengxi Domestic Security Division officers into the Chenxi Meteorological Bureau and forcibly took Mr. Yu Shaoqi to the Laodaohe Brainwashing Center in Changsha on September 19, 2012. Mr. Yu was badly beaten in the center. He was released after 15 days.
4. [Wuhan, Hubei Province] Mr. Jiang Zhengwang Arrested
Mr. Jiang Zhengwang from Macheng was arrested by Xinzhou police on December 3, 2012.
5. [Muchuan County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Lu Taijing Arrested
Ms. Lu Taijing was arrested by Zhao Wei, Zhang Fan and other police officers on the night of November 28, 2012. Her home was also ransacked.
6. [Changchun, Jilin Province] Mr. Zhu Jingyun Severely Persecuted in Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp
Mr. Zhu Jingyun, in his 50s, from Chaluhe Town, Yongji County, Changchun, was arrested on May 29, 2012. Shortly thereafter, he was sentenced to 1 year and 3 months of forced labor and sent to Division No. 3 of the Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp in Changchun.
Mr. Zhu has been brutally persecuted in the labor camp because he has resisted being “transformed.” On the night of November 25, 2012, he fell and lost consciousness. He was sent to the First Hospital of the Norman Bethune University of Medical Science and did not regain consciousness until the next morning. Although Mr. Zhu could not speak clearly or walk without support, the guards still took him back to the forced labor camp.
7. [Maanshan, Anhui Province] Mr. Hu Kean Detained
Mr. Hu Kean, 67, is a retiree of the Maanshan Steel Company. He was arrested and taken to a detention center by officers from the Maanshan Domestic Security Division on the morning of September 14, 2012.
8. [Chongqing] Ms. Li Jizhen and Ms. Li Jihuan Held at Brainwashing Center
Ms. Li Jizhen and Ms. Li Jihuan from Shapingba, Chongqing, were arrested at Xindianzi on November 28, 2012. They have been detained in the Wangxiangtai Brainwashing Center in Lushangou, Liaolu Town, Chongqing.
9. [Dalian, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Hong Detained
Ms. Li Hong, 43, from Zhongshan District, was arrested by officers from the Zhonghualu Police Station in Ganjingzi on October 30, 2012. She was sent to the Yaojia First Detention Center in Dalian.
10. [Dong'a County, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Fengqin Detained
Ms. Zhang Fengqin, in her 60s, was arrested while she spoke to people about Falun Gong in Dong'a County. She is being held in the Guguantun Detention Center in Dong's County.
