(Minghui.org) On April 17, The Weibin District Court in Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, held a trial for Falun Gong practitioner Lin Jilong. In court, the judge kept asking an unknown man in black for his opinion. When Mr. Lin spoke of Falun Gong, the man in black even commanded the judge, “Get him out!” The so-called trial ended in disgrace.

Mr. Lin Jilong was 68 years old at the time. In November 2011, three days after he returned to Baoji from Shanghai, police from Weibin District Police Department arrested him because he practices Falun Gong. On April 16, his family received a notice of the trial on April 17.

On the day of the trial, six of Mr. Lin's family members were sitting in the spectator’s section of the courtroom. Although his brother and sister-in-law, his sister, his ex-wife and his cousins were allowed in the courtroom, many more relatives were not admitted. The police had stopped them from entering.

Mr. Lin did not hire a lawyer. He defended himself, pleading not guilty. Aside from the judge and two jurors, there was an unknown man in black. From time to time, the judge whispered to this man to ask for his opinion.

The judge did not let Mr. Lin defend himself until after he had asked the man in black. Mr. Lin spoke up righteously, “Falun Gong teaches people to be good according to the principles of Truth-Compassion-Forbearance. Jiang Zemin framed Falun Gong and he cannot represent the law. His words are not law.” The man in black stopped Mr. Lin, yelling, “Shut up! Shut up! Get him out!”

Two policemen took Mr. Lin out. The judge and the jurors were about to leave, but Mr. Lin’s family went to them and asked: “What are you doing? Do you have a verdict?” One juror replied, “We will discuss it and notify you of the sentence.”

The trial ended in a farce. People asked, “Who is this man in black? How could he command the court and the judge?”
