(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 26 cities or counties in 10 provinces. In this report, 5 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 53 practitioners were illegally arrested.

2. [Xingyang City, Henan Province] Mr. Li Xinren Arrested

Officers from the Xingyang City 610 Office in Henan Province, Domestic Security Division in Xingyang City, and the Gaocun Township Police Station of Xingyang City, arrested Mr. Li Xinren, who was working at the time, and took him to the Xingyang Detention Center, on June 1, 2012. His home was ransacked.

3. [Jinyun County, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Hu Nanling Arrested

On the morning of June 5, 2012, a few officers from the Xinjian Town Police Station, Jinyun County, broke into and ransacked Ms. Hu Nanling's home. She was arrested and is being held at the Jinyun County Detention Center.

4. [Zhumadian City, Henan Province] Mr. Zhang Hui Arrested

Mr. Zhang Hui, in his forties, from Zhumadian City, was arrested by officers from the Nanhai Police Station, Zhumadian City Police Department on February 22, 2012. He is being held at the Liuge Detention Center, Zhumadian City.

5. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Lina Arrested

When Ms. Wang Linan from Chaoyang District, Beijing, went to Meilianmeifa to distribute truth-clarifying materials recently, she was reported. She is being held at the Chaoyang Detention Center.

6. [Urumqi City, Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region] Ms. Zhang Chunxian Arrested

Ms. Zhang Chunxian, a practitioner in Wulumuqi City, Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region, was arrested while she was at work on May 15, 2012. She is being held at the Xishan Detention Center.

7. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ten Practitioners Arrested by Officers from Linghai City Police Department

On June 5, 2012, Ms. Wang Lin, Ms. Gu (given name unknown), Ms. Yuan, Ms. Li, Ms. Ge Ying, and Ms. Shen Xiaodan, from Jinzhou City, went to a rural area to distribute truth-clarifying materials. On the way back, they were arrested by officers from the Linghai City Police Department.

8. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Long Li Arrested and Taken to Qingniwaqiao Police Station on June 5, 2012

9. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolian] Ms. Zhang Junqing, Ms. Wu Xiuzhi, and Ms. Wu Xiulan Arrested

Ms. Zhang Junqing, from Dawuban Town, Balinyou Banner, Chifeng City, drove to a rural area in Dajing Town, Linxi County on June 2, 2012, to distribute truth-clarifying materials and was reported. Officers from the Domestic Security Division, Lixin Police Department, later arrested Ms. Zhang, her mother Ms. Wu Xiuzhi, and her aunt Ms. Wu Xiulan. They are currently being held at the Linxi Detention Center.

10. [Chongqing] Three Practitioners Detained

On the morning of June 2, 2012, Ms. Liao Tianbi, Ms. Chen Wenhui, Ms. Chen Wenxian, and Ms. Chen Wenbing, from Fengjie County, Chongqing, were arrested by officers from the Xinmin Town Police Station and the Fengjie County Domestic Security Division when they were distributing truth-clarifying materials at Xinmin Town, Fengjie County. Ms. Liao Tianbi was released and Ms. Chen Wenhui, Ms. Chen Wenxian, and Ms. Chen Wenbing were taken to the Fengjie County Detention Center.

Officers from the Fengjie Domestic Security Division and the Xinmin Police Station ransacked the homes of Ms. Chen and Ms. Liao, and confiscated computers, DVD players, cell phones, and other personal property.

11. [Pi County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Gao Qin and Ms. Meng Yiqiu from Zhanqi Village, Tangchang Town Arrested on Morning of June 6, 2012

12. [Tianjin] Ms. Liang Xiuying from Xinzhuangzi Village, Sangzi Town in Ji County, Arrested on May 31 for Distributing Truth-clarifying Materials

13. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yuan Ying Arrested

Ms. Yuan Ying from Malu Village, Paotai Town, Shanwanxin District, Dalian City, was arrested on the morning of June 6, 2012 and taken to the Paotai Town Police Station. Police officers later ransacked her home and confiscated her computer, printer, satellite receiver, and truth-clarifying materials, along with other property. They also arrested her husband who is non-practitioner. Currently, the couple's whereabouts are unknown.

14. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Yunxia and Ms. Zhao Meihua Severely Mistreated at Shijiazhuang City Prison

Ms. Li Yunxia is a resident of Linquan Village, Xibei Township, Yi County. As a result of being persecuted, she has trouble walking , and suffers from an abnormal heartbeat and shortness of breath.

Ms. Zhao Meihua's term expired three months ago, but she is still being held at the Shijiazhuang City Women’s Prison. She was beaten with an electric baton by guard Fan Miao (female), and her mouth was sealed with tape. She was also forced to stand for a long time, and her hand was stepped on with high heel shoes. For almost a year, she has been unable to lift her arms.

15. [Pingdingshan City, Henan Province] Mr. Ma Zhongyuan Arrested

Mr. Ma Zhongyuan, from Wawu Township, Lushan County, Pingdingshan City, is in his sixties. On May 26, 2012, he was arrested at his home. He is being held at the Lushan County Detention Center.

16. [Dingxing County, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhou Xiuling Arrested

On the morning of May 25, 2012, officers from the Tiangongsi Township Police Station in Dingxing County, went to Nandoumen Village and arrested Ms. Zhou Xiuling. They ransacked her home.

17. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Liu Daxiu and Ms. Bu Chunhua Arrested

Ms. Liu Daxiu, in her seventies, from Suining City, and Ms. Bu Chunhua, in her forties, were reported when they were clarifying the truth on a street behind the Red Cross Hospital on the morning of June 4, 2012. They were arrested by officers from the Kaixuan Road Police Station, in the Chuanshan District of Suining City. Ms. Liu was picked up by her family that afternoon. Ms. Bu was taken to the Beigu Forced Labor Camp.

18. [Fuxin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Huang Muhua Arrested

On May 29, 2012, Ms. Huang Muhua, Mr. Zhen Shijie, Ms. Yang Guizhen, and Ms. Yang Guirong, went to Zidutai Township in Fumeng County to distribute truth-clarifying materials. They were arrested by officers from the Zidutao Police Station of Fumeng County. Mr. Zhen was held at the Fumeng County Detention Center, and Ms. Huang Muhua, Ms. Yang Guizhen, and Ms. Yang Guirong were held at the Xindi Detention Center, in Fuxin City.

19. [Honghu City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wan Jiuyun Arrested by State Security Division Officers

Ms. Wan Jiuyun was arrested on June 5, 2012 by officers from the State Security Division in Honghu City, Hubei Province. Her whereabouts are unknown.

20. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Shao Baoqing Sentenced to One Year of Forced Labor

Officers from the Ping'an Police Station, in Shulan City, Jilin Province, forced Mr. Shao Baoqing to sign a statement of repentance that was rejected. He was subsequently sentenced to one year of forced labor. He is being held at the Nanshan Detention Center, in Shulan City.

21. [Pingdingshan City, Henan Province] Ms. Li Aizang and Ms. Niu Yanhui Arrested

On the morning of June 6, 2012, Ms. Li Aizang and Ms. Niu Yanhui, from Pingdingshan City, Henan Province, went to clarify the truth and were arrested by officers from the Yaomeng Police Station.

22. [Shiyan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Chen Meifang Continuously Persecuted

Ms. Chen Meifang, from Shiyan City, Hubei Province, was detained and later taken back by her employer. The employer continued to persecute her by not allowing her to go to work. Zhang Liping (female), the director of the Labor Division, kept her from entering the door of the company.

23. [Laoting County, Hebei Province] Mr. Li Xueyou Arrested at Home and Taken to Leting Detention Center by Four Police Officers on June 5, 2012

24. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xu Quanmei and Ms. Xu Quanxiang Arrested

Ms. Xu Quanmei, from Qingdao City, Shandong Province and her sister Ms. Xu Quanxiang, from Haojiahonggou, Qiaoshan Township, Ju County, went to a market in Zhaoxian Town, Ju County on May 30, 2012 to distribute truth-clarifying materials. They were arrested, and are being held at the Rizhao City Detention Center.

25. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wu Zhiqin Arrested

On the morning of May 1, 2012, officers from the Shuangshan Police Station, Lishan District, Anshan City, broke into Ms. Qu Zhiqin's home and arrested her. She was taken to the Anshan City Second Detention Center.

26. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Ma Honghui Arrested

Gao Yanguo from Bairin Left Banner, Chifeng City, Tian Licheng, and Li Hongzhu, from the Domestic Security Division of the Bairin Left Banner Police Department, arrested Mr. Ma Honghui and his wife Ms. Zheng Guizhi and elementary school teacher Ms. Lu ,who was at their home. They ransacked their home and confiscated a computer, a printer, and other personal property.

On June 4, 2012, Gao Yanguo and other officers broke into and ransacked Mr. Jia Bin's home. They confiscated the computer, a printer, and other personal belongings, and arrested Mr. Jia Bin's wife Ms. Zhao Chunxia and her older sister Ms. Zhao Fuxia. Mr. Jia's whereabouts are unknown. Ms. Zhao Fuxia was released that night. Ms. Zhao Chunxia is being held at the Zhuo Banner Detention Center.

27. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Li Guiping Arrested on June 1, 2012

On June 2, 2012, over ten officers from the Chaoyang Police Station in Nanming District, Guiyang City, the Guiyang City Police Department, and the Zunyixiang Neighborhood Administration Committee, stormed into the home of Ms. Li Yaping who is in her fifties. They confiscated her computer and other property. She is being held at the Nanming District Detention Center, Guiyang City. Ms. Li Lianyou, in her fifties, was also arrested the same day and her whereabouts are unknown.

29. [Shandong Province] Additional Information on Ms. Liu Yuexia from Shengli Oil Field

Ms. Liu Yuexia was reported when she was clarifying the truth on the afternoon of June 4, 2012. She was arrested by officers from the Wenhui Police Station and taken to the police station. Wang Zhiming, from the Dongying District Domestic Security Division, led officers to ransack her home. She is currently being held at the Dongying District Detention Center and her family is not allowed to visit.
