(Minghui.org) Many people have read or heard stories of the power of Falun Gong and believe them, so they wholeheartedly say, “Falun Dafa is good.” Their belief in Falun Gong has cured their diseases and helped them become healthy. The following are examples shared by just a few of the many people who, although not practitioners, have been benefited from Falun Gong.
A 72-year-old Woman Regains Her Eyesight and Hearing
(From Chongqing) An elderly woman told a Dafa practitioner her story and insisted on having it publicized:
I am 72 years old and live in the Yubei District of Chongqing. In February 2012, I suddenly was unable to see and could barely hear anything. My son took me to two hospitals – Southwest Hospital of Chongqing and Daping Hospital – where I was diagnosed with glaucoma, a corneal ulcer, corneal leukoma, as well as chronic rhinitis. Doctors recommended that I be hospitalized immediately, otherwise my vision would deteriorate rapidly and I would become blind. A chief doctor at the hospital told us that there was no cure for my conditions, but only drugs to stave off blindness. I would need to be admitted for the necessary treatment. However, we were informed that there was no space available at the hospital and were asked to leave our contact information for future notice. We had no choice but to return home.
A relative who is a Falun Gong practitioner heard about my situation and visited me. He told me to recite “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” wholeheartedly and my conditions would improve.
So I did that everyday, and within a week I was able to see some shadows. Later, my relative gave me a copy of an audio recording of Master's lectures in Guangzhou, and I have been listening to the lectures again and again. At present, I am able to see and hear clearly. In addition, my chronic rhinitis has disappeared.
Above was my own experience of the miraculous power of Falun Gong. I am truly grateful to Master's Li's merciful salvation and want to be a Dafa practitioner. Thank you, Master!
A Cerebral Hemorrhage Patient Recovers within a Month
(From Jinzhou, Liaoning Province) Zhu and Zheng, a couple in their 80s, are very well aware of the facts of Falun Gong and the persecution. Zheng said that they believed “Falun Dafa is good,” while Zhu said that he often listens to the Minghui Radio Station run by Falun Gong practitioners. He once told practitioners, “I even know more facts about the persecution than you.” Furthermore, their children have all withdrawn their memberships in the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations due to Zhu and Zheng's positive influence.
One day, Zheng fell down the stairs and lost consciousness. Her family rushed her to the closest hospital. Doctors said she had had a cerebral hemorrhage and was in critical condition. Zheng recalled afterward that she had actually been quite clearheaded the whole time and had been repeating “Falun Dafa is good.” If she felt confused, reciting that helped her to become clear immediately. Her children also recited “Falun Dafa is good” to Zheng. Within a month, her symptoms completely vanished and she was released from the hospital. Her doctor was astounded by the unbelievable speed of her recovery.
After returning home, the elderly couple asked a Falun Gong practitioner to write down their story and publish it on the Minghui website to express their gratitude to Dafa and Master Li.
Reciting “Falun Dafa Is Good” Brings Blessings: A Successful Pregnancy
(From Anping, Hebei Province) My family had longed for a child for a long time, and I finally became pregnant when I was over 30. In my fifth month, the doctor told me that I had pregnancy-induced hypertension. I was very worried about the health of my baby but decided to keep it instead of having an abortion.
One day I ran into an elderly lady who was a Falun Gong practitioner. Seeing my feet badly swollen, she was concerned about me. I told her about my condition, and she said, “Since we have met each other today, we may have a predestined relationship, so I would like to tell you a way to solve your problems.” She helped me withdraw from the Youth League, an organization of the CCP, and told me to repeat “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” and that this would bring me blessings. She also left me an amulet(1).
I repeated the two sentences regularly and frequently thereafter. Three months later, I gave birth to a strong healthy boy who became the joy of my whole family. I later encountered this practitioner again and expressed my gratitude to her. She said, “My teacher taught me to do this. Please thank my teacher instead.”
Psoriasis Cured without Medication: The Story of a Young Man
(From Hebei Province) My 20-year-old nephew had psoriasis for several years and it affected most of his skin except on his face, feet, and hands. He and his family spent lots of money looking for a cure, from hospital treatments to folk medicine, but nothing seemed to work. My nephew was seriously depressed and so was his father—my brother—who worried about what his future would hold.
I told my nephew that reciting “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” would cure him. First he didn't believe it but changed his mind after reading a non-practitioner's report on how Falun Dafa cured her psoriasis. After learning the facts about Falun Gong, he asked me to help him withdraw from the Youth League and started reciting the two sentences. Before long, his psoriasis was gone. He is also interested in learning Dafa himself and has begun to read Zhuan Falun.
Note: (1) Amulet – In China, practitioners sometimes clarify the truth by giving people something small to wear or cherish, bearing a few words reminding them of the goodness of Dafa.
