(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 13 cities or counties in 10 provinces. According to this report, 8 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 16 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Huainan City, Anhui Province] Mr. Peng Ming Detained

Mr. Peng Ming, 47, was arrested by police on November 12, 2013. He is being held at the Huainan City Detention Center.

2. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Jinghuan Detained

Ms. Wang Jinghuan was arrested by officers from the Changan Police Station on November 6, 2013, for distributing information about the persecution of Falun Gong. She is being held at the Zaohua Detention Center.

3. [Beijing] Mr. Xin Tingchao Facing Trial

Mr. Xin Tingchao was arrested at his workplace in Beijing by officers from the Beijing Police Department on June 14, 2013, for giving a Shen Yun Performing Arts DVD to someone. The Beijing Chaoyang District Court is scheduled to put him on trial on November 26, 2013.

4. [Ningan City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wang Limei Taken to a Brainwashing Center

Ms. Wang Limei was taken to the Mudanjiang Brainwashing Center.

5. [Hebi City, Henan Province] Mr. Ji Jun and His Family Arrested

Mr. Ji Jun, his wife, and their two-year-old child were arrested on the morning of November 12, 2013, and taken to the Lao District Erkuang Security Section. His child was released that night.

6. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Pan Wenguang Taken to a Brainwashing Center

Mr. Pan Wenguang was arrested at home by officers from the Hanzhong City 610 Office, the Nanzheng County 610 Office, and the Domestic Security Division on the afternoon of November 11, 2013. He was taken to the Hantai District Pu Town Zaoshu Village Brainwashing Center.

Mr. Li Weidong was arrested on November 8, 2013.

8. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Li Dongxu Detained

Mr. Li Dongxu was arrested at his office by officers from the Shenyang City Domestic Security Division and the Minglian Police Station on the afternoon of November 11, 2013. He was beaten by officers at the Minglian Police Station because he talked to them about the persecution of Falun Gong. He was later taken to the Shenying Detention Center.

9. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Hongxia Arrested

Ms. Li Hongxia was arrested on the evening of November 12, 2013. She was taken to the Qiancheng Police Station.

10. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] Ms. An Lianyu and Ms. Kan Hongxia Arrested

Ms. An Lianyu and Ms. Kan Hongxia were arrested on the morning of November 10, 2013, for talking to people about Falun Gong and the persecution.

11. [Luquan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Yun and Ms. Ma Surui Detained

Ms. Zhang Yun, Ms. Ma Surui, and another Falun Gong practitioner were arrested by officers from the Bailuquan Police Station on the afternoon of November 10, 2013, when they were talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. One of them was released, and Ms. Zhang and Ms. Ma were taken to the Shijiazhuang City No. 2 Detention Center.

12. [Nongan County, Jilin Province] Ms. Sun Yanxia Tortured

Ms. Sun Yanxia recently told her lawyer that she had been tortured by Tang Ke, captain of the Nongan County Domestic Security Division, and other officers. As a result, she was in poor physical condition. She was taken to a forced labor camp hospital for a physical examination. Her platelet count was less than 30, with 60 being normal. She often lost consciousness, and had hemianesthesia, which is the loss of sensation in either lateral half of the body, due to abuse. Her mental condition was deteriorating and the doctor wanted to do a bone marrow test.

13. [Guangfeng County, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Xia Hongshou and Mr. Chen Hui Taken to a Brainwashing Center

Mr. Xia Hongshou and Mr. Chen Hui were arrested by officers, including Tu Jiang, from the Domestic Security Division on the morning of November 13, 2013. They were taken to a brainwashing center.

14. [Qingyuan County, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Mr. Ge Yongjie, Ms. Liu Liying, and Mr. Liu Haitao were arrested on September 25, 2012. They have been held at the Fushun Detention Center for more than a year. It is rumored that the Domestic Security Division, the Fushun Dongzhou District Procuratorate, and the Fushun Dongzhou District Court recently discussed torturing them.
