“The Fa can break all attachments, the Fa can destroy all evil, the Fa can shatter all lies, and the Fa can strengthen righteous thoughts.”
I studied Master's teaching again before writing this sharing and suddenly I felt I was enlightened.
A fellow practitioner in our local area felt very depressed after being released from the brainwashing center. She stopped studying the Fa and doing the exercises, and her head was filled with confusion and questions. I felt very sad that this formerly rather diligent practitioner was now in such a state due to the abuse she endured in the brainwashing center. This practitioner used to have a fairly good understanding about Fa principles and did the three things well.
I thought we mustn't just watch my fellow practitioner be destroyed by the old forces. She used to be a good disciple of Master's and a good fellow practitioner. We must help her to awaken from the nightmare she experienced in the brainwashing center.
Other practitioners and I went to visit her many times to share and discuss issues she was confused about, but each time we were not able to help her make a breakthrough. No matter what we said she remained unchanged. I also took my son (a practitioner with very strong righteous thoughts) to see her in the hope that he may be able to help her, but we still could not get through.
I eventually lost hope for her. One day after I left her house, I sadly thought: I will not go to her place again. I felt I had done my best. My home is quite far from hers and my mother, in her 80s, is very sick and cannot look after herself, so my elder sister and I have to take turns taking care of her. We also needed to do the three things well every day and there was so much that I needed to do. All this hadn't been easy for me. With these thoughts I felt I had a clear conscience and felt at ease and justified.
A few days later I had a dream: a tree in her yard was now growing in mine. When I woke up I realized Master was giving me a hint and I must not give up on her. The pronunciation of “tree” in Chinese is very similar to that of “book”, so I thought I must take the book (Zhuan Falun) to her. I decided that no matter how busy I might be, every week, I would ask a few practitioners to her place so that we could study the Fa together.
Three months after this regular group Fa-study began, I realized that this practitioner had completely changed. Now she is full of spirit and has once again melted into the body of Dafa disciples.
From the changes in this practitioner I understood that when we run into seemingly unsolvable difficulties and feel we are at the end of our rope and have nowhere to turn, we must never forget the most important thing of all – group Fa-study. When practitioners sit together and calmly study the Fa, without any pursuit, then everything will come along by itself.
