(Minghui.org) Recent reports on Minghui reveal that many practitioners who participated in group exercise in the open have been arrested and detained; some practitioners from Harbin and Daqing who came to Shenyang for the activity were arrested by police as soon as they stepped off the train.
The situation is very serious and I felt rather heavyhearted when I read these reports. In fact, there was a sharing on Minghui website as early as last November to warn practitioners about such activities. However, losses that should have been avoided occurred again recently.
We have been cultivating in Dafa for a long time now and we should be able to think and act in a steady manner with rationality. No matter what we do, we need to be responsible to the Fa, to the whole body and to the safety of fellow practitioners. We must focus on solid cultivation instead of acting on impulse in a flighty and impetuous manner. We must ask ourselves: Is what we do in line with the rationality and principles required by the Fa?
At the moment, we need to focus on doing well in Fa study, in our cultivation, in sending forth righteous thoughts and saving more sentient beings. However, some practitioners are always keen to seek novelty and do something big and sensational. They have a strong attachment to showing off and doing things instead of solidly cultivating themselves.
They rush to show themselves off by organizing activities such as group exercise in the open, causing avoidable losses. Such group exercise does not have any direct connection with our urgent mission of saving people at the moment, and would not help in any way with saving people extensively.
From the standpoint of security, when two areas are communicating with each other for a joint activity, if one telephone or cell phone is tapped or tracked, it could lead to big loopholes and danger and interfere with many practitioners' regular efforts in saving people. It would also affect their normal lives, to say the least, and they would then be busy dealing with harassment.
I would like to remind fellow practitioners in various places that we must focus more on solid cultivation and check our actions against the Fa's principles. We must not try to seek novelty and do things differently to show off. Only by conducting ourselves with rationality and maturity can we be worthy of Master's painstaking salvation, so that our Master can feel less worried and be assured.
