Ms. Gu Wenhua was held in the Ling County Detention Center for 15 days. She should have been released on January 30, 2013, but instead she was transferred to Jinan Women's Prison.
2. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Meng Yuhua, Illegally Detained for 10 Years, in Critical Condition after Hunger Strike
Ms. Meng Yuhua from Kangping County, Shenyang City has been detained for 10 years in the Fifth Team, Ninth Ward of the Liaoning Province Women's Prison. She has been on a protest hunger strike for 20 days. She is too weak to walk and she is in critical condition.
3. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] More Information on the Arrests of Mr. Yang Guanghui and Others
Mr. Yang Guanghui, 54, Ms. Chen Fenghua, 49, and Ms. Qi Zhengxin, 72, were arrested by officers from the Lingkong Police Station in Tiexi District, Shenyang City on the afternoon of January 25, 2013 while making banners for the New Year. Mr. Yang Guanghui was taken to the Tiexi District Detention Center on the evening of January 26, 2013. Ms. Chen Fenghua and Ms. Qi Zhengxin have been taken to the Shenyang City Detention Center.

4. [Hengyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Yan Hongyan Sentenced to Forced Labor
Ms. Yan Hongyan was arrested on June 4, 2012 and has been sentenced to one year of forced labor. She is being held at Baimazhou Farm in Zhuzhou City. Her home was also ransacked.
5. [Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Xiuzhi and Ms. Yan Ying Arrested
Ms. Yan Ying from Hejian City and Ms. Li Xiuzhi, an employee of the Supply and Marketing Company, were arrested by the company's security guards on January 26, 2013 while distributing truth-clarification materials. Both of them were released the next day.
6. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Married Couple Mr. Wei Chuanmao and Ms. Liu Guoxin Arrested
Mr. Wei Chuanmao and Ms. Liu Guoxin were arrested by officers from the Changfeng Police Station in Hanyang District, Wuhan City on January 24, 2013 while talking to people about Falun Gong and the persecution. Ms. Liu was taken to the Erzhigou Detention Center. Mr. Wei's whereabouts are unknown.
7. [Taicang City, Jiangsu Province] More Information on the Arrests of Ms. Deng Mingming, Mr. Shi Zehui and Ms. Zhao Yumei
Ms. Deng Mingming from Taicang City was sentenced to three and a half years in Nantong Women's Prison in Jiangsu Province.
Mr. Shi Zehui has been sentenced to four years in Suzhou City No. 3 Prison. He was beaten so severely around his head that he bled and needed 8-9 stitches.
Ms. Zhao Yumei has been taken to the Judong Forced Labor Camp. She was shocked for long periods of time with an electric baton and suffered a mental collapse. She is detained in Taicang Mental Hospital.
8. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Li Ziting Arrested
Mr. Li Ziting from Weifang City was arrested by officers from the Zheshan Town Police Station on the afternoon of January 28, 2013 while driving his van near Dayuan Village, Zheshan Town, Anqiu City. His brand new van was confiscated and his home was ransacked on January 29, 2013.
9. [Hengshui City, Hebei Province] Mr. Qiao Zhanhe and Ms. Qiao Naran's Homes Ransacked
Mr. Qiao Zhanhe and his daughter Ms. Qiao Naran's homes were ransacked by over 10 officers from the Anping County Police Department in Hengshui City, and the Daziwen Town Police Station on January 20, 2013. All their Dafa books, truth-clarification materials and computers were confiscated. Mr. Qiao Zhanhe has been forced to become homeless to avoid further persecution.
