(Minghui.org) I used to be a very feisty woman, who would fight to the point of death and show no mercy. The many years of strife took a severe toll on my health. I suffered from heart disease, nephritis, gastritis, and chronic insomnia. At one point I had to rely on a caregiver to look after me. When the hospital failed to treat my illnesses, I decided to practice Falun Gong and I was cured!
Renowned Business Entrepreneurs Share Dafa
My husband and I have been looking after our extended family while managing our business. We have become renowned business entrepreneurs in our area. We own a large factory that dominates the local market, and we have over 100 employees. While many businesses are suffering loss, our factory keeps prospering. The factory is located in a rural area with few Falun Gong practitioners living nearby. Nevertheless, I am confident that I can do 10 or 100 practitioners' share of volunteer work because it is important for me to help people understand Falun Gong. I may be busy running my business, but I take advantage of my role as a business owner to clarify the truth to new employees and new clients.
The factory is located in a pastoral area in Inner Mongolia, which gives me a lot of opportunities to meet Mongolian herders. When herders make deliveries to the factory, I throw in free lunches to entice them to stay longer so that I can clarify the truth about Falun Gong to them. I have no facility in the Mongolian language, but I found an interpreter who translates for me. I have saved many herders from the lies of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) this way.
Gaining Respect of the Police Chief as Well as Employees
There was a period of time when fellow practitioners and I distributed a large volume of Shen Yun performances on DVD. The local police chief knew that I practiced Falun Gong. He came to have a “chat” with me one day, but was blocked outside by my husband. A few days later the police chief made a business call when I happened to be in my office alone. I took the opportunity to clarify the truth to him. He said before he left, “You are the person I would run to for help. Being the kind of person you are, I know you would help me.”
In the fall of 2011 when the factory was the busiest, one third of my employees suddenly became ill. They all vomited and had diarrhea, and were bedridden in their dormitory. I had previously clarified the truth to all of them and successfully persuaded them to quit the CCP's student leagues, of which they were once members. I told them to repeat “Falun Gong is good” and told them to rest. Then a miracle happened. Their supervisor came at noon to tell me that they had all recovered and wanted to go back to work. I told him, “Absolutely not, as their health comes first and they must rest.” The supervisor insisted, “We have all fully recovered after we recited 'Falun Gong is good.'” All of my sick employees went back to work at noon, and the production was running normally again. I was deeply moved. Our compassionate Teacher had cured them.
There used to be a lot of thugs in this area and brawls were the norm. Since I took over the management in 2004, I have been treating my employees kindly. They must have been affected by the compassion I manifested through practicing Falun Gong, as they began to get along and work well with each other. It is as though they were working for their own family business, as they didn't complain about work and they performed well. There is rarely a fight at my factory anymore. It is truly like Teacher said,
“The Buddha-light illuminates everywhere and rectifies all abnormalities.”

Sharing the Principle of Loss and Gain
One day a client sold me merchandise totaling 16,000 yuan. I paid him in cash and gave him two receipts, which he signed in acknowledgment of my full payment in cash. He came back 10 days later and claimed I never paid him. I tried to reason with him and encouraged him to think of where he might have put the money. Although I had paid him, he insisted that his daughter-in-law did not receive the payment. He demanded a payment and refused to leave, and I was unable to work.
I remembered what Teacher had taught us about loss and gain. I decided to pay him again because I knew what belonged to me would come back to me in some form. I asked him to get his son and daughter-in-law here because I wanted to pay in front of all of them this time. After they arrived, I clarified the truth about Falun Gong, told them about the law of loss and gain, and the importance of quitting the CCP. They all agreed to quit the CCP's student organizations. I added, “If it had not been for Falun Gong, I would never have paid you again. I can assure you that you won't win if you bring it to the court because I have the receipts to prove that I have paid you in full.” His daughter-in-law said, “You are a very nice lady.” They took the money, but I held no hard feelings.
Family Experiences the Benefits of My Practicing Falun Gong
My husband and I both come from large families. Together we have over 200 relatives. Since I started practicing Falun Gong, I have been equally kind to both sides of our family, and they have witnessed the positive effects that Falun Gong has had on me. All 200+ of our relatives have quit the CCP and/or its two student leagues, and some also practice Falun Gong. Others may have not started practicing, yet they all think highly of Falun Gong. They even persuade their friends to quit the CCP organizations, and they give me the list of names so that I can publish their statements online. My husband and my children often say “Falun Dafa is good” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” My entire family is living in the grace of Falun Gong, and we are very happy.
My husband's youngest brother was only eight when his father passed away. My husband and I were like parents to him. He was particularly attached to me when he was little and saw me as his mother. In order to give him better opportunities, I managed to obtain a residence permit in the city for him when he reached 18. I found him a job at a credit union when he finished college. I also played matchmaker for him and found him a wife. They both had very good salaries, led a comfortable life, and had a beautiful baby boy. However, he died in a car accident at the early age of 34. It was devastating to my family. My husband was working in the factory 400 miles away from home that day, so it fell on my shoulders to take care of the family and arrange the funeral.
I had to first find help to take care of his wife and my mother-in-law. They were both ill and the devastating news made it worse. Once I found them a caregiver and a doctor, I left home to arrange the funeral.
I had never been to a crematorium in my life. I dreaded it since I was little, but I had no choice. I begged Teacher to protect me and told myself there was nothing to be afraid of. It was past 10 p.m. by the time I arrived at the crematorium. There were no other women there except me. I was so afraid that I kept thinking of Teacher in order to keep my composure. My son-in-law's colleagues and our relatives watched while I arranged everything calmly and patiently. They saw that I remained kind, patient and forgiving even when I was grieving for my brother-in-law, who was like a son to me. My brother-in-law's boss said, “You are a truly remarkable lady! You have my respect!” I responded, “I practice Falun Gong. This is how I am taught.” Many people at the scene expressed their deep appreciation for Falun Gong.
My mother-in-law was living with the young couple, and now that her son passed away, my sister-in-law became a single parent. It would be a challenge to raise a child alone, let alone take care of her mother-in-law. I decided to buy a condo for my mother-in-law so that she wouldn't have to move out. I bought her a condo of about 650 square feet because that was all I could afford. I thought it was enough space for one person, but she complained it was too small for her and held a grudge against me. Yet I continued to treat her well and have no hard feelings for her.
My husband's second younger brother had difficulty making ends meet. I bought him a home in town and then found a job for his son. When his son became unemployed, I had his son manage a store for me. He runs the store well and it generates a lot of profit. Once his son learned the truth about Falun Gong, he realized that it is all because of Falun Gong's teaching that I have become a person who will help them with no strings attached. He is very thankful for Falun Gong and often shares with people what he knows about it. He has also persuaded a lot of people to quit the CCP's affiliated student organizations.
I didn't want my mother-in-laws to live alone, so I moved her daughter's family of three from a rural village to town to live with her. I buy them things they need from time to time and take good care of them. My mother-in-law and her daughter's family are now living happily together. They have all learned to recite “Falun Dafa is good” and practice the exercises.
My brother's wife passed away in her 20's. It was not easy for him to raise the children alone, and I have helped him every way I can. I also paid for my nephew's tuition. After my nephew graduated from a vocational school, I helped him find a job. I tried to clarify the truth about Falun Gong to my brother many times, but he dismissed everything I said because he had fallen prey to China's propaganda against Falun Gong.
I dreamed about my brother the night before I knew he became ill. I saw myself going to his house and saw that a flood had killed many people. I saw my brother's head bobbing in the water. I reached out and dragged him out of water. The next day I called on him and discovered he had come down with a heart disease called mitral stenosis. His body became swollen, and he couldn't even go up or down the stairs. The hospital refused to take him, so I suggested that he try practicing Falun Gong. He only agreed to try because he didn't want to die. He recovered completely in just 22 days.
My younger brother and his wife, after witnessing the transformation in my health and disposition, started practicing Falun Gong as well. My brother had a stroke, but now he is perfectly healthy and happy. I also helped his child find a job.
My husband, son, daughter-in-law, grandson, daughter and son-in-law all think highly of Falun Gong. They often listen to Teacher's lectures, watch DVDs that contain important facts about Falun Gong, and share with people what they have learned about it. They have persuaded many people to quit the CCP and/or its affiliated student organizations. They have also introduced Falun Gong to many people.
My Husband Helps and Protects Me When Clarifying the Truth
My husband often drives me and fellow practitioners to rural villages when we distribute truth-clarification materials. He also helps deliver PCs, printers and office supplies to other practitioners' homes. When the police come looking for trouble, he always steps up to protect me.
One day, 11 police officers from the local Public Security Bureau (PSB) showed up at my house. They planned to arrest me, but they were unable to find any Falun Gong truth-clarification materials or books as evidence to justify the arrest. In fact, Article 35 and 36 of China's Constitution warrants the citizens of China the freedom of speech and religious belief.
My husband has a lot of respect for me. He always discusses things with me before he makes a decision. He also knows that heaven will ultimately reward a man for his good deeds and punish him for his bad deeds. He always tries to become a better person. This is probably why heaven has rewarded him with a successful business.
Sincerity and Compassion Touches People's Heart
This is exactly as Teacher said, “[...] with one person practicing, the whole family benefits”. (“Teaching the Fa at the Fa Conference in Australia”)
Teacher also said,
“Those who are attached to affection for family will definitely be burned, entangled, and tormented by it. Pulled by the threads of affection and plagued by them throughout their lives, they will find it too late to regret at the end of their lives.” (“Cultivators' Avoidances” in Essentials for Further Advancement)
If I had not been practicing Falun Gong, I might have succumbed to the many tribulations in my life by now. I would never have been so generous in helping my family and relatives overcome hard times without expecting anything in return. I always believe that my sincerity and my compassion as a Falun Gong practitioner will eventually touch their hearts. It is easy to repay kindness with kindness, but a cultivator must remain kind even when he faces malice or injustice.
