(Minghui.org) As the Fa-rectification accelerates, many people have come to understand the facts about Falun Gong and have made the right choice for themselves.
One such example involved a local police chief who not only renounced the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) after he understood the truth but also asked for more information to read at home. There are many other fortunate examples.
People Choose Their Futures
I clarify the truth to many people in my city. I also go to outlying villages by bus or motorcycle, and I always bring with me enough informational materials including flyers, DVDs, theNine Commentaries, and other materials. People in the villages are simple and kind, but they have also been deceived by the lies about Falun Gong. Many of these people are delighted after coming to understand the truth. Both my parents and parents-in-law live in one such village.
One of my relatives is a veteran CCP member. He once said to me: “Ni, the Nine Commentaries was written really well. I have read it six times and still can't stop reading it. Let me hand-copy the book before you take it back.” I replied, “It is too hard to copy it by hand. This book is yours.” He said, “Isn't this the book that will change the world?” “You are right. You really understand it,” I said.
He was once a soldier, and he was sent back to the village to farm after being demoted as a County Committee cadre. He already hated the CCP, and the Nine Commentaries helped him further understand the party's true nature. Since then, he has continued to tell people everywhere about the good things of Dafa and the bad things about the CCP. Of course, he quit the CCP a long time ago.
On one occasion, I wanted to clarify the facts at a remote village that was more than 20 miles away from my relative's village. There was no bus to get there, so I asked help from the village police chief. He kindly drove me there in his police car, and I helped 14 people quit the CCP in that trip.
On one rainy day, I saw a plainclothes police officer at the gate of a park. I chatted with him about a lot of things such as the goodness of Dafa, the truth of the staged self-immolation incident, and the 100-million-year-old rock in Guizhou Province with the hidden words saying, “The Chinese Communist Party Will Perish.” He was very happy to discuss such things, and he asked me if I knew what his job was. I told him that I just wanted to save him regardless of his job. I wanted him not to be deceived and eliminated. I wanted him to have an auspicious future. He repeatedly thanked me and told me to be more careful for my safety. I was really gratified that he had decided on his future.
I have a 96-year-old relative who once had many diseases. After coming to know about the goodness of Dafa, she helped me validate Dafa. Whenever I had any informational materials left over, she always made sure to distribute them. Over time, her health improved dramatically. When asked how she had become so healthy, she always told people, “Master Li has cured all of my diseases.” Her cataracts disappeared before a scheduled operation, and her ruddy cheeks now look like those of a person in her 70s.
Clarifying the Truth Amid Difficulties
I have gone through many ups and downs in the more than a decade of truth clarification. Some people have refused to listen, some have wanted to report me to the police, and some have even yelled at and scolded me. However, I have always been able to cast aside these hardships and maintain proper thoughts. The trips to remote villages were particularly difficult, but I never felt bitter when I held tightly to the thought that I could save people.
I started practicing Dafa in July of 1998. At that time I suffered from more than 15 diseases such as hypertension, cervical spondylosis, rheumatoid, eye inflammation, rhinitis, pharyngitis, skin diseases, neurosis, insomnia, and others. I also spent a lot of money on medications. However, those illnesses completely disappeared within six months after I started cultivation. I became healthy and my face turned ruddy. My son even said that I was prettier. Since then, I have firmly believed in Master and persistently cultivated in Dafa.
I once lived at the edge of the town. In 2006 many people built new houses in town and hired a lot of workers. Most of the workers were farmers, and I thought that this must have been arranged by Master: He sent predestined people to me. I therefore invited them to my home and let them watch DVDs. I told them the truth about the self-immolation, and I also advised them to quit the CCP. The results were good.
However, I must have been attached to some kind of human notions, for one night when a group of workers were watching the self-immolation DVD, I was reported and several police officers broke into my house like bandits. They tried to grab my grandson from my arms, and their rough demeanor made him cry. They then took me, my grandson, and the workers to the police station. I told the police that I would take the responsibility and that they should let the workers go.
After the workers left I started sending forth strong righteous thoughts to disintegrate any evil elements and old forces that tried to persecute me. Because Master taught us not to compromise with the evil, I did not answer their questions. Instead, I actively clarified the truth to them. I told them about the goodness of Dafa and the beauty of being a good person by following the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
After a day and a night at the police station, the police sent me to a hospital for a physical examination. They said that they would put me in jail if my blood pressure was normal. On the way there, I sent forth righteous thoughts and asked Master to save me. At the hospital I asked the blood pressure meter to help me. As a result, my blood pressure was higher than 200, and it was even higher in another reading. When the nurse performed an intravenous injection to lower my blood pressure, I sent forth righteous thoughts to allow the medicine to fail. When the police left the room, I took this opportunity to clarify the facts to the nurses. Two hours later, one nurse told me that she believed me, and that the next day she would tell their leaders all of what I had said. She also quit the CCP.
Working to Meet Master's Requirements
Through diligent cultivation and Fa study over the years, I know I shoulder a huge and sacred mission, and that Master deeply expects us to do things better in order to save more sentient beings. I started with my family, relatives, and friends. My husband and my children understood the facts and quit the CCP. My husband has now become my best helper in distributing the Dafa informational materials. He has driven me to distant streets, malls, restaurants, theaters, farmers markets, banks, lawyers offices, and police stations. We have helped many people quit the CCP; sometimes the number is as high as 18 a day.
When I take the kids to school or pick them up, I talk to the teachers and the principal. My grandson has also participated in the Fa-rectification to help Master save people. He not only helped all of his classmates quit the CCP, but he also clarifies the facts outside of school. He has helped as many as 900 people over the years.
