(Minghui.org) Early in the morning on January 26, 2013, while distributing DVDs of the Shen Yun Performing Arts in Dawu village, Linyuan township of Daqin City, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Hu Baijuan, Ms. Sun Yumei, and Ms. Xiao Binhua were reported to the police by people who did not know the facts about Falun Dafa and surrounded by villagers. Police officers Zhang Chenghai and Zhao Bo from the Linyuan Township Police Department arrested the three practitioners and took them to the Linyuan Township Police Department.

At around 10 or 11 a.m. that morning, police under the direction of political commissar Liu Tianwei and Deputy Director Xing Jianhuo of Linyun Police Department illegally ransacked the homes of the three practitioners and stole personal belongings. They confiscated two computers, with one desktop belonging to Ms. Sun’s son and one laptop, two printers, two MP3s, Falun Dafa books and some Falun Dafa truth-clarifying materials at Ms. Sun Yumei's home.

Police arrived at Ms. Hu Baijuan’s home around 10 a.m. and didn’t leave until 4 p.m. When they couldn’t break open the front door, they sawed off the iron bars on the window of a balcony in broad daylight. Police Zhou Yuzhu and Zhang Chenghai went into the home from the window and forced Ms. Hu’s family to open the front door. A dozen police swarmed in, including Wu Junting, Zhang Shanhai, Yu Lianjiang, Li Tieyan and Zhan Chunbo. They confiscated three computers, five printers, Falun Dafa books, two pictures of the founder of Falun Dafa, some empty DVDs and cases, and some truth-clarifying DVDs.

That night, police interrogated the three practitioners. On the morning of January 27, the practitioners were taken to Daqin No. 1 Detention Center. Ms. Sun Yumei and Ms. Xiao Binhua failed the physical exam and were released, while Ms. Hu Baijuan was detained. An arrested warrant was issued on February 6. Her case file was taken to the Datong District Procuratorate. She has been illegally detained to this day.
