(Minghui.org) I would like share some touching stories that took place recently when fellow practitioners and I went out to clarify the facts about Falun Dafa to people.
Tens of Thousands Quit the Chinese Communist Party Every Day
On the morning of June 24, 2013, when two other practitioners and I went to a scenic area to talk to people about Falun Dafa and the persecution, we met a young couple from Jiangxi Province. They had recently graduated and landed jobs with low pay but flexible working hours. They were on vacation.
One practitioner talked with the young man about pressing social issues in China, such as the difficult job market, the high-priced housing, low salaries, corruption and cruel officials. As they talked, the young man became indignant and said that Chinese society was too rotten and dark and that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) was lying to people. He added that most people born in 1980s or 90s do not have a good opinion of the Party.
He said, “According to my research online and some of my friends who've traveled abroad, tens of thousands of people are publishing their statements to withdraw from the CCP every day.”
We told him, “It's true! As people are increasingly becoming disgusted with the Party, they're quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations in order to choose a bright future for themlvesse and their family members.”
The couple told us that they had only joined the Communist Youth League and Young Pioneers and said that they wished to quit these CCP-affiliated youth leagues using aliases.
Former Party Secretary: “The CCP is Just Evil”On June 25, 2013, a practitioner spoke to a waiter in a restaurant. The 64-year-old waiter used to be the CCP secretary in a company where he had worked for 34 years. When the company went bankrupt, he got a job as a waiter to support himself.
In the past, he had worked hard for the CCP and done a lot of things against his conscience, such as giving others a hard time, cheating people and hurting others. Blindly following the CCP, he stopped thinking about how he was hurting others and became its tool. When he was no longer valuable, the CCP kicked him out.
He told the practitioner, “The CCP is just evil!”
From his 34 years of experience as a Party secretary, he knew firsthand how evil the CCP is, and that it says one thing but does another. He felt guilty about what he had done on behalf of the Party. He said that he believed in Buddha and Gods, and that good will be rewarded and evil punished.
The practitioner encouraged him to withdraw from the CCP to separate himself from the crimes of the Party. The waiter happily took the advice.
Two Elderly Women Withdraw from the Communist Party
One morning in July, two practitioners met two elderly women shopping in a supermarket. One practitioner handed them a ShenYun Performing Arts DVD. One of the women asked some questions. The practitioner explained that Shen Yun presents a wonderful classical Chinese dance and music show, which is reviving 5,000 years of divinely inspired culture. When the woman realized that the DVD was free of charge, she said, “I'd love to watch it! I'll take it.”
The practitioners continued to talk to the two women. They talked about how rotten Chinese society is nowadays and how corrupt officials transfer money to other countries and send their children abroad to grasp any chance to stay abroad.
One of the practitioner then said, “Please withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations so that you may have a bright future.” The women happily agreed and thanked the practitioners again and again.
Two College Students: “The CCP is Completely E vil”
One afternoon in early July, two practitioners met a young couple in a scenic spot. The young man was attending college in Dalian City, while the girl attended a local university.
Practitioners told them how Falun Dafa practitioners have been tortured at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp and about the savage acts of harvesting organs from living practitioners. The girl said she had learned about this from a teacher in high school. At the time, the students were shocked and did not believe it.
The couple said they had realized the CCP's evil nature and no longer wanted to join the Communist Party. “The CCP is completely evil,” one of them said.
When the practitioners told them about the huge wave of people withdrawing from the Party, they said they wanted to withdraw from the Youth League and the Young Pioneers. Before leaving, they thanked the practitioners and wished them well.
