Solemn Declaration

Before I obtained the Fa in 1997, I had many illnesses. Soon after I began to cultivate, I returned to full health. Unfortunately, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started its unprecedented persecution of Falun Gong on July 20, 1999.

I was taken to a forced labor camp for believing in the principles Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. In the labor camp, I was ordered to write the three statements and threatened with sleep deprivation, starvation, and denial of restroom use. I was also monitored around the clock.

After a few days, they realized that I would not renounce Falun Dafa, so they wrote the three statements on my behalf and pressed my finger on the document. I was confused and therefore cooperated with the guards and betrayed Master and Dafa.

Later, my foggy mind cleared and I realized that what I had done in the forced labor camp was unforgivable.

I solemnly declare, “Everything I have written or done that does not conform to the Dafa principles is null and void. I will have solid righteous thoughts, firmly believe in Master and Dafa, do the three things, cultivate myself diligently and solidly, compensate for the losses I caused to Dafa, follow Master's Fa-rectification closely, become a qualified Dafa disciple in the Fa-rectification period, and return home with Master.”

Solemn Declaration

After July 20, 1999, my work unit and street residential committees demanded that practitioners renounce Falun Dafa. Due to great fear, I said against my will, “I will renounce and stop practicing Falun Dafa.” In addition, I turned in some of my Falun Dafa books.

Four police officers ransacked my home for two hours on October 18, 2000. Having found nothing, they kept asking, “Where are the Falun Dafa books and materials?” I replied, “There are none.” They demanded that I say “I won't practice Falun Dafa” before they left.

I went to my daughter's home at the end of 2009. When I applied for a temporary residency permit at the local police station, officers who knew I was a practitioner brought my daughter and her husband to the station and told them to talk to me about my attitude towards Falun Dafa. My son-in-law told them that I no longer practiced. The officers told me to write the guarantee statement. I said, “I don't know how to write.” My son-in-law wrote it for me. They forced me to put my fingerprint on it.

Two police officers broke into my daughter's home again in April 2013. They asked for my son-in-law's phone number and threatened my family. They demanded that we write and sign the following: “We guarantee not to participate in any of the local Falun Dafa activities.” I was forced to fingerprint it.

I felt very sad and remorseful that I had spoken out against Falun Dafa. I let Master and Dafa down.

I solemnly declare, “Everything I have said, written, or done that does not conform to Dafa is null and void. I will compensate for the losses I caused Dafa, do the three things well, and practice with determination.”
