(Minghui.org) I just started practicing Falun Dafa three months ago, although I have known about Zhuan Falun for more than ten years. My parents-in-law have practiced Falun Dafa for years and told me all about it, but I didn't pay much attention. However, a recent incident led me to rediscover this miraculous practice and it changed the course of my life.
I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in a well known hospital on May 13, 2014. I had surgery at the hospital and the doctor said that my white blood cells had been compromised. Being diagnose with Lymphoma was a big shock to me and my family. My parents were elderly and my son was young. I was just 42 years old. Would my life end like that? My whole world was shattered. The hospital bill was expected to be huge. My wife had decided to sell our house to pay my medical bill.
My parents-in-law came to see me. They brought Master Li's lectures and asked me to listen.
Soon the doctor asked me to have an ultrasound at the Tianjin Cancer Institute and Hospital. He would make a treatment plan according to the result and would decide on radiotherapy or chemotherapy.
My wife and I went to Tianjin with heavy hearts. I had many thoughts about fate, family and my child while I lay on the examination bed. I saw my wife holding my surgery record and talking to the doctor. Another layer of dark clouds covered my heart.
Suddenly, a beam of bright light suddenly appeared in my mind. I realized that I was a Falun Dafa practitioner and not an ordinary person. I recited in my heart: “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good; I am a Falun Dafa practitioner; I have Master and everything will be fine.”
Then I heard the doctor say that everything was fine. When my wife and I held the ultrasound film and asked the doctor if I needed a follow-up treatment, the doctor said: “Everything is normal. What treatment do you want?”
I was overjoyed. Falun Dafa had changed my fate. My family was spared an enormous medical bill. The previous diagnosis that I only had six months to live was completely overturned. This could not have been resolved with money.
I am energetic now and have gone back to work happily. My gratitude is beyond words. I will steadfastly follow the principles of Falun Dafa and will use the rest of my life for cultivation.
I hope that those who have have been deceived by the Party's lies will awaken and come to see the true situation. Falun Dafa is good!
