(Minghui.org) Two Nanjing Falun Gong practitioners were illegally arrested for talking about Falun Gong to people on September 30, 2014.
Ms. Fu Yuerong is being held at the Pukou Detention Center. Dr. Zong Hua is incarcerated at the Shifosi Detention Center.
Family Visit Denied
Ms. Fu' husband visited the detention center to see his wife. But, his request was denied.
Ms. Fu is the caregiver of two twin sisters and her mother-in-law, in her 80s, who is paralyzed.
Ms. Fu started practicing Falun Gong two years ago. Before that, she suffered from severe depression and was divorced. After she practiced Falun Gong, she and her husband remarried and had a harmonious life before her arrest.
Repeatedly Arrested and Harassed
Dr. Zong, in her 50s, has been repeatedly arrested for being a Falun Gong practitioner.
She also faced arrest at the end of last June. Officers ransacked her home and monitored her for a week. They tried to arrest her at home but failed. They later surrounded her home for three days. She escaped with the help of others. The police kept monitoring her home for another two weeks.
Dr. Zong went missing on September 30. Her son went to the police station to inquire about her whereabouts and learned that she had been arrested and taken to the Shifosi Detention Center.
