(Minghui.org) People from the local Commodity Exchange Committee in Qingbaijiang District, the 610 Office, and the police bureau arrested Ms. Xu Biju, who is from Qibaijiang District in Chengdu City, on July 11, 2014. Her arrest warrant was officially issued on July 20. When her lawyer wanted to check her file, police officers threatened that they would arrest him.

Ms. Xu and Her Husband Arrested

Ms. Xu had previously been employed at a trading company in Qingbaijiang District, Chengdu City. She went back to this company on July 3, 2014, to visit a friend who was going to retire. While she was there, she also clarified the facts to people, including Li Huanchun, who was the person in charge of the discipline team. Because of that, Li reported her to the Qingbaijiang District 610 Office, and wanted them to arrest her. It was reported that people from the police bureau told Li that he would have to pay them before they arrested her, and Li replied that this would not be a problem.

Police officers from the Qingbaijiang District in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province arrested Ms. Xu Biju and her husband Mr. Wang Santian on July 11, 2014. They also ransacked their homes. They brought a device with them, which they used while searching everywhere, including the walls. In the end, they confiscated a computer, a printer, DVDs, and a DVD writer. Ms. Xu is currently being held at the Chengdu Detention Center. During the interrogation, guards threatened her by saying that if she didn't make a “confession,” they would arrest her daughter and torture her.

Mr. Wang was released after being held for 11 days. People from the Qingbaijiang District Police Bureau ordered him to report to the police station regularly.

Ms. Xu's Attorney Threatened

Ms. Xu's attorney recently went to the Qingbaijiang Police Bureau and asked for Ms. Xu's file. Zhang Jie, a police officer from the Domestic Security Department, challenged the lawyer by saying, “Do you practice Falun Gong? If you do, we'll arrest you too.” The attorney told Zhang that practicing Falun Gong was not against the law, and he also demanded the immediate release of Ms. Xu. When the attorney asked Zhang to check on the Internet to find out whether Falun Gong was considered a cult, Zhang rudely refused to do so.

Ms. Xu Persecuted Repeatedly for Her Belief

Ms. Xu went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong in late June 2000. She was arrested and returned, then detained at the Dawan Police Station in Qingbaijiang Distrtict for 15 days. She was taken to the brainwashing center of the Qingbaijiang Shooting Field on July 20, where she was detained for ten days.

Li Yuxin, the secretary of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) committee, along with Wen Zuolun, a manager from her company, confiscated her personal belongings valued at more than 30,000 yuan. When Mr. Wang and Ms. Xu asked them to sign a receipt for the items, they refused, saying that if they signed, it could be used as evidence.

People from her company arrested her and took her to a brainwashing center in October 2000.

Police officers arrested Ms. Xu and took her to the Qingbaijiang Detention Center on January 18, 2001, where she was detained for 45 days. They also confiscated three hundred yuan from her. Her company forcibly dismissed her in April 2001.

People led by manager Chen Jiagui, secretary Li Yuxin, and Wen Zuolun from her company, drove to Ms. Xu's home on July 9, 2003, with the intention of taking her to a brainwashing center. She was therefore forced to leave home to avoid further persecution.
