(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 3 cities or counties in 2 provinces. According to this report, 2 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 4 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Tianjin] Mr. Hua Lianyou in Critical Condition
2. [Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province] Four Practitioners Arrested
3. [Siping City, Jilin Province] Ms. Shi Guohong Sentenced to Three Years in Prison
1. [Tianjin] Mr. Hua Lianyou in Critical Condition
Mr. Hua Lianyou from the Beichen District in Tianjin went on a hunger strike in Binghai Prison for 617 days to protest the persecution. To avoid being held responsible for his possible death, guards put Mr. Hua on a stretcher and took him home on January 28, 2014.
Mr. Hua was arrested on April 24, 2012. He was sentenced to seven years in prison by the Beichen District Court in September 2012, and was taken to Binghai Prison the following month.
2. [Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province] Four Practitioners Arrested
Mr. Liu Ruiquan; his wife, Ms. Zhang Zuixia; and Mr. Lin Jiacun and his wife, Ms. Lin Aizhen, were arrested by officers from the Xixin Police Station on January 24, 2014.

3. [Siping City, Jilin Province] Ms. Shi Guohong Sentenced to Three Years in Prison
Ms. Shi Guohong was sentenced to three years in prison in December 2013. She is currently held in the Jilin Prison.
She was previously arrested by the Pingdong Police Station in Siping City in September 2012.
