Miracle of Floods and Fires

I began practicing Falun Dafa in 1999 and have been cultivating for over 16 years. In the summer of 2009, soon after I moved into a first-floor apartment in my subdivision, it started to rain. Soon the rain became a downpour which didn't stop for several days and nights. The small storm sewer could not handle the sudden, heavy rainfall. The water level began to rise in front of my building. Soon it reached one foot, easily as high as my calf. Every home and first-floor apartment in my subdivision flooded—except one. Strangely, my home did not flood. The water level stopped rising just as the water came up to my door.
My neighbors expressed their surprise. “What happened to your home? Your home was not flooded at all. Even though we built a flood wall, we were still flooded out. You had no flood wall, yet no water entered your home.” Someone knew that I practice Falun Gong and said, “Her Master protected her.” Yes, my Master protected his disciple.
Another miracle happened on a summer morning in 2012. Right after I finished sending righteous thoughts at 6 a.m., from a unit on the right side of my apartment, I heard someone cry, “Put out the fire! Put out the fire!” I could smell clothes burning. My neighbors and I all ran out to help. We saw a pile of clothes outside the door of that unit. The house was burning. Someone called 911. Soon, fire trucks came but they couldn't enter the subdivision because many cars blocked the entrance. The fire was getting bigger.
I asked Master for help. I was very calm and walked to the front of the fire-engulfed building. I clasped my hands together and asked Master to put out the fire. Then I recited the Fa-rectification phrases. The fire was put out immediately. My neighbors witnessed the divine power of Dafa which can turn karma into virtue.
Miracle on the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway

On the afternoon of February 5, 2014, my family of three was anxious to go home because of something urgent. It was a snowing, but we still decided to drive from Zhengzhou City in Henan Province to Yunan City. Even though it was snowing, visibility was OK. When we checked, the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway was not closed. So we took off.
Soon there was about four inches of snow on the road. Some snow had melted and turned to ice under the car wheels. The road conditions worsened with the mix of water, snow and ice. I kept our speed to around 25-35 mph. We passed four car accidents between Zhengzhou City and Xinzheng Airport within a few dozen miles.
We saw three more accidents when we passed Xinzheng Airport. Crashed vehicles were strewn all along the roadside. I continued to drive carefully for about four hours. It was dark when we reached Tahe. I saw that there was less snow on the road so I accelerated to about 50 mph. After ten minutes, my car started to slide. I lost control of the steering and shouted, “The car is out of control!” Everything was now in the hands of fate. Within a few seconds, my car made a complete circle on the expressway and finally settled on the side of the road. A few seconds later vehicles began to rush by, one by one. Nothing happened to our car and no one hit us. Everyone in the car was unharmed.
My wife who does not practice Falun Gong told me that she was reciting “Truthfulness- Compassion-Forbearance is good. Falun Dafa is good" while this was happening and asked for Master's protection.
I am kind of scared even now when I recall what happened. Without Master's protection, how could it be possible that nothing happened while driving 50 mph on a highway covered with snow? More than that, not a single car passed us while our car was out of control. It is absolutely incredible. I am so grateful for Master's merciful salvation.
I have been practicing for many years but have not been very diligent. Master didn't give up on me. I thank Master again for His merciful salvation. I will be more diligent, assist Master in the Fa-rectification, and do the three things well.
