New Practitioner: “I Was Saved from Terminal Cancer”

(Minghui.org) I am 50 years old. Three years ago I suffered from chronic headaches and after two weeks of getting anti-inflammatory injections, my headaches did not get better. My sister told me to stop the injections because they may be harmful. “This will be good for you,” she said as she handed me the book Zhuan Falun. My sister was not a Falun Gong practitioner, but her two daughters practiced.

After I read Zhuan Falun for a few hours, the headache was gone! In my dream that night I saw Master sitting high up on a lotus flower. I was so happy, I wanted to learn Falun Gong. When I told my husband, he immediately started to yell at me and my daughter threatened to run away from home. I did not pass the test and put aside my wish to cultivate.

I was later hospitalized and diagnosed with advanced-stage lung cancer. I was told it had already spread to my lymph nodes. The hospital did not prescribe any medicine or surgery as it was already too late. My family dared not tell me the true situation. My niece told my husband, “Since there is no other way to save her life, please let my aunt practice Falun Gong.” Desperate, my husband agreed to let me practice.

At the beginning I was so weak I could not even hold the book. My sister and her daughter helped me hold Zhuan Falun and read the Fa to me. Even before I started to learn the exercises, my health kept improving day by day.

There were three lumps on my neck. My husband wanted to know what type of cancer it was so he asked the doctor to take a cell sample from one of my lumps to do laboratory tests. The doctor was surprised when collecting the sample and asked, “What medicine did you take? The lumps have shrunk so fast that it's hard to get a sample now.”

Once when I was half asleep, I saw a man enter the room and he said, “You'll get better soon. It's going to be dried up soon.” The next day the three lumps on my neck disappeared. Other symptoms also improved rapidly. After 40 days I went to the hospital for a check-up. The doctor did a CT scan with the same machine as before but did not find any cancer cells! My family was extremely happy!

Before I always felt like a large stone was pressing down on my back. One day when I was half asleep, it felt like someone hit my back with both their hands. Afterward I felt my back getting lighter and lighter. I am now much healthier than before.

Now that I'm healthy, my husband, who used to be against my practicing, is now sharing his understanding of the Fa principles with me. My daughter had wanted to move away from home, but she's changed her mind. After they heard my story, some of my relatives and friends have now started practicing Dafa and most of them now think Falun Dafa is good.
