Practitioners from Xinbin County, Liaoning Province, Illegally Arrested

(Minghui.org) Several Falun Gong practitioners from Xinbin County, Fushun City, Liaoning Province, were illegally arrested on April 12, 2014. Officers from the Fushun Domestic Security Division, the Xinbin Domestic Security Division and the Xinbin Town Police Station in Xinbin County made the arrests at Ms. Ma Siyuan's sister's home in Fushun. Those arrested were Ms. Ma Siyuan, Ms. Huang Xiangrong, Ms. Liu Mingzhen, Ms. Tu Lijuan, Mr. Zhang Xianmo, and another elderly practitioner, Ms. Ma.

The Fushun State Security Division had long been monitoring the practitioners' phone conversations, and the arrest was carefully planned. The Xinbin Domestic Security Division and the Xinbin Town Police Station had also assigned people to follow the practitioners.

At 9 a.m. on April 12, police from the Fushun Domestic Security Division parked a van outside Ms. Ma Siyuan's sister's home. The police broke into the house and arrested Ms. Ma Siyuan, Ms. Huang Xiangrong, Ms. Liu Mingzhen, Ms. Tu Lijuan, and the elderly Ms. Ma. Mr. Zhang Xianmo arrived at the house while the police were ransacking the rooms and was also arrested.

The police took the practitioners to a basement in Fushun for interrogation. Ms. Tu Lijuan developed high blood pressure and heart problems during the interrogation and was released. The other five practitioners are detained in Nangou Detention Center in Fushun.

The police ransacked each practitioner's home afterward. They confiscated a computer, Falun Dafa books, truth-clarification materials, and one thousand yuan (U.S. $165) from Ms. Ma Siyuan's sister's home; two laptops, one printer, and Falun Dafa books from Ms. Ma's home; and one computer, Falun Dafa books, a picture of Master Li Hongzhi, three MP5 players, and a few MP3 players from Mr. Zhang Xianmo's home.
