(Minghui.org) On March 18, 2014, a group of plainclothes and unidentified people broke into Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Wu Liang’s logistics company and abducted him. They ransacked Mr. Wu’s office without a search warrant and took away some of his personal belongings. In addition, they threatened Mr. Wu not to tell anyone about what had happened.

They turned out to be members of Shanghai's Jing'an District Domestic Security Team and policemen from Caojiadu Police Station. They targeted Mr. Wu because he is a Falun Gong practitioner.

This group of perpetrators went from Mr. Wu’s company to his residence and ransacked it too, taking away his computer in the process. Mr. Wu’s family was not notified of his whereabouts, and they did not find out that he had been detained in Jingan District Detention Center until that evening.

After practicing Falun Gong, Mr. Wu acted according to his conscience and began treating everyone with kindness. He took good care of his family, and treated his employees well.

So why was a kind person, who had not committed a crime, arrested illegally? Who directed the local law enforcement personnel to blatantly violate the law?

It was the “610 Office”, an extra-legal agency created for the sole purpose of eradicating Falun Gong. Set up by former head of the CCP Jiang Zemin, the 610 Office has power over the entire judicial system, including the courts, procuratorates, and the police system.

Under the 610 Office's direction, the Chinese judicial system goes all out to put Falun Gong practitioners behind bars, despite the lack of any legal grounds for this wrongful detention. (For more information, please refer to “Injustice Is Served: The Court System in Today's China—Overview (Part 1 of 8).”)

The arrest of Mr. Wu by agents from the Jingan Domestic Security Team and Jingan Police Station is just another example of how the 610 Office directs the police system to trample on the Falun Gong practitioners' right to freedom of belief.
