(Minghui.org) I recently read an article on Minghui, in which a diligent practitioner was attached to when the Fa-rectification would end: Teacher has mentioned numerous times that the Fa-rectification would finish soon, so why hasn't it been completed after so many years? In the end, she could not find an answer and stopped her cultivation practice.
Fa Principles vs. Human Notions
I feel bad about this practitioner. As Dafa disciples, we should think about things based on Fa principles, not human notions. Mankind, as well as the society we live in, is nothing but a tiny particle compared to the gigantic cosmos. At any level beyond this human world, this Fa-rectification period is very transient; but in this human society, it could appear as a long time.
That is, a cultivator, or an enlightened being, has a different scale as that of an everyday person when looking at time.
Even on the human level, what Teacher told us is also correct. Just think about the 5,000 years of civilization in China, which is part of the preparation for the Fa-rectification. What we have experienced, such as the persecution in China, is a brief moment compared to the long history.
A more fundamental issue is that this practitioner may not have fully understood the Fa or had faith in Teacher.
A Reference for the Future
The old forces had many arrangements and prophecies in the past, such as the Mayan Prophecy. Many of these timelines have already passed, while society still seems to continue as usual. This is because Teacher is in charge of Fa-rectification, and it cannot follow arrangements by the old forces.
Dafa disciples must participate in the Fa-rectification because we are particles of Dafa. We cannot be replaced by other sentient beings, either, because we are Dafa particles—the future cosmos will be composed by us.
Whether we do well or do poorly in our cultivation, all of these will serve as a reference for the future. These also include human notions, such as the attachment to time, as well as consequences associated with them.
It is critical for us to be clearheaded and remain on track. Even if there are detours, we should be able to return to the cultivation path and walk well the rest of our journey.
Time Is Waiting for Us
From Teacher's lectures, we know that some practitioners have already been enlightened to very high levels, and they are not directly involved in the efforts of opposing the persecution.
Many of us have passed many tests and are moving toward consummation, but this is different from the above practitioners. I think there are two reasons. One is that we still need to improve to meet the criteria set for us; the other is that we have to clarify the truth to people and save them.
Teacher has already made the best arrangement for each of us. There are many reasons behind what we do and why we do it. But the bottom line is that we need to fulfill the task assigned to us.
Summary
In everything we do, we need to do it from the perspective of the Fa.
Throughout our cultivation, we have experienced many miracles. For example, an everyday person cannot guarantee his or her own health—whoever gets sick needs to see a doctor or rely on medicine. Dafa has brought us good health without illness, among other changes such as xinxing improvement. How can we use human notions instead of Fa principles to consider things?
