Additional Persecution News from China – September 23, 2015 (Part II, 10 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 7 provinces. According to this report, 3 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, at least 27 were illegally arrested, the whereabouts of 1 is unknown, and 3 were arrested for filing a criminal complaint against Jiang Zemin.

5. [Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province] Several Practitioners Arrested, Including Three for Filing a Lawsuit Against Jiang Zemin
6. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Seven Practitioners Arrested
7. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Mr. Yang Tianyou Arrested
8. [Pingjiang County, Hunan Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
9. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Several Practitioners Arrested and the Whereabouts of One is Unknown
10. [Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province] Mr. Zhao Zhiyong Detained

1. [Beijing] Mr. Zhang Jiguo Sentenced

Mr. Zhang Jiguo was recently sentenced to a five-year prison term by the Fangshan District Court. He was arrested on October 15, 2014, and detained in the Beijing Detention Center.

2. [Yongxing County, Hunan Province] Ms. He Lefeng and Ms. Zhang Tinglan Detained

Ms. He Lefeng and Ms. Zhang Tinglan were arrested by officers from the local police station on September 14, 2015, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. They were detained in a county detention center for three days.

3. [Zhucheng City, Shandong Province] Family of Four Arrested

Mr. Guo Bingliang, his wife Ms. Ding Guilan, son Mr. Guo Peikun, and daughter Ms. Guo Peizhen were arrested by officers from the Zhucheng City Domestic Security Division and Police Department on September 15, 2015. Mr. Peikun is still detained in the Zhucheng Detention Center, while all others were released.

4. [Wei County, Hebei Province] Ms. Song Qiaoshe Detained

Ms. Song Qiaoshe and Mr. Gao Guijing were arrested by officers from the Chuwang Town Police Station on September 6, 2015, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She is detained in the Neihuang County Detention Center.

5. [Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province] Several Practitioners Arrested, Including Three for Filing a Lawsuit Against Jiang Zemin

Several practitioners including Mr. Xu Longbiao, Ms. Zheng Jun, Ms. Liu Jinhua, and Ms. Zhang Hui were arrested on September 15, 2015.

Mr. He Xiliang and his wife and Ms. Yang Fang were arrested around September 16, 2015, for a filing criminal complaint against the former Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin with the Supreme People's Procuratorate.

6. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Seven Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Zuo Siqi, Ms. Kong Huoyun, Ms. Li Yun, Ms. Qin Xuzhen, Mr. Chou, Ms. Peng, and Mr. Du were arrested by a dozen officers from the Qinglongchang Police Station on September 3, 2015.

7. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Mr. Yang Tianyou Arrested

Mr. Yang Tianyou was arrested by officers from the Xinkaipu Police Station on September 17, 2015, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

8. [Pingjiang County, Hunan Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Deng Duohui was arrested and taken to the Hengchang Brainwashing Center by officers from the Hongqiao Town Police Station on September 15, 2015.

Mr. Jiang Xinghua and Ms. Dai Yiwen was arrested and taken to the Hengchang Brainwashing Center on September 17, 2015, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

9. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Several Practitioners Arrested and the Whereabouts of One is Unknown

Several practitioners, including Mr. Yang Shugui, Mr. Yang Shuhua, Mr. Wu Zuying, and Mr. Yang Yingqun, were arrested by officers from the Sanlijie Police Station on September 15, 2015. Four practitioners were released.

Mr. Yang Shuqui, Mr. Yang Shuhua, and Mr. Wu Zuying are still detained in a city detention center. Mr. Yang Yingqun's whereabouts are unknown.

10. [Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province] Mr. Zhao Zhiyong Detained

Mr. Zhao Zhiyong was arrested by officers from the Railway Police Station when he got off the train in Taiyuan City on September 20, 2015.
